Relentless Pursuit

As Leo trains for his next fight against Ricky Fontaine, Danielle Morgan walks into the gym and approaches him.

"My father told me to find out what it'll take to make you change your mind about working with us."

Leo chuckles as he punches the heavy bag.

"It's easy, really." He says, throwing a kick.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. All you have to do is change Frank's mind."

Danielle laughs.

"Oh, is that all? You make it sound so easy."

Leo smirks and continues to practice on the heavy bag. Danielle then holds the bag, getting eye to eye with him.

"You don't have a say in this?" She asks him.

Leo stops for a moment and looks at her.

"Sure I do. I say Franks my manager." Leo says.

Danielle smiles.

"Well, I'm gonna have to change Frank's mind then."

She then pushes the heavy bag into Leo, who catches it.

"Yeah, good luck with that."

"Thanks."

The two share a smile, then Leo snaps out of it and continues training. As Danielle is about to leave, she tells him something else.

"Oh by the way. I was by Ricky Fontaine's camp the other day. His trainer thinks you're a sucker for the left hook. Fontaine says he's dropping you tomorrow night."

Leo chuckles.

"Yeah? Well Fontaine is entitled to his own opinion."

Danielle smiles and walks off as Leo stares at her and smirks, then refocuses on his training.

That night, as Leo prepares to leave the gym and lock up, Sunny Morgan walks in. Leo let's out a small sigh and drops his back.

"What can I do for you, Mr. Morgan?" He asks.

"Leo, I have to tell you something. About your father. Before he died, he and I agreed to a deal. I was going to get him a title shot and let Frank stay on as manager."

Leo is confused by this.

"Sadly, he never got a chance to tell Frank about it. I'll give you the same deal. Keep Frank as your trainer and manager, I'll promote your fights."

Leo shrugs off Sunny and grabs his bag, preparing to leave. Before he can, Sunny steps infront of him.

"Danielle's young, she's got other fighters."

"Sorry sir, I'm not interested." Leo says, walking past him. As he walks towards the door, Morgan thinks of something else.

"And think about your brother."

Leo stops and turns back to Sunny.

"What about my brother?"

"Williams got talent. Not your kind of talent, but I mean, he's big. You see how big he is. He could be heavyweight champ someday. Isaiah Cross looks unbeatable now, but who knows."

Sunny puts his hand on Leo's shoulder.

"Be smart, Leo. Let me take you and William to the top."

Leo knocks Sunny's hand off of him.

"Look, Mr. Morgan. I don't appreciate you talking about my father, or trying to get me to go behind Frank's back."

He then gets into Sunny's face, intimidating him.

"Stay away from my brother. And stay away from me. Are we clear?"

Sunny quickly steps back, clears his throat, and tightens his tie.

"You have no idea who you're fucking with, kid."

"Yeah, you've mentioned that before." Leo replies.

Sunny then walks away towards the exit, but not before telling Leo something.

"Oh and, good luck with Fontaine. I got a feeling, It's not gonna be your night."
