Help of the ice god

I finally escaped from the onslaught of attacks from moltres and zapdos. Them pokemon sure are angry.

The place that I'm currently hiding in is a cave that happened to be close by. I noticed there didn't seem to be any pokemon inside or wondering around this area.

I guessed that it is due to the reason that the two legendary pokemon are fighting. There attacks are visibly destroying the island if this is not put to a stop I'm pretty sure the island won't hold.

I need to find a way or thing to stop this. Suddenly I was assaulted by a pulse of energy. Turning my head it seemed to be coming from the end of the cave.

I walked deeper into the cave feeling the signal getting stronger and stronger.

It felt as if the signal was calling my name attracting me. I walked the final few steps and arrived to a new scene.

This part of the cave was surrounded in pure ice. The pulsing began to get stronger and stronger.

This power held a feeling of suppression as if it could freeze anyone in its path.

Still curious as to what this could be I kept following the pulse until I arrived upon the scene of a giant lake with a block of ice in the middle.

This block of ice seems to be what has been attracting me to the area. Calling out metang I asked it to teleport me over.

Placing my hand on the ice block it seemed to respond to my will. A strange energy began to surround me and the ice.

For a few minutes the ice began to crack each one being stronger than the next. After the process was finished the last legendary bird stood in front of me majestically.

Giving out a air of superiority articuno stared down at me. Seeming to judge the situation that was going on.

Suddenly I heard a voice in my head that surprised me.

Articuno:human why are you here it is not time for judgment to come.

I explained to articuno how I arrived in this area. Telling it about the whole plane incident.

"How is it that you can communicate with me but the other legendary birds couldn't."

Articuno:Human it is because I am the true articuno. Those two you met are also legendary but they are not the leader of the zapdos or moltres clan.

I thought to myself that this is some useful information to know. That certain legendary pokemon have a hierarchy.

After that I also explained about articuno on the battle that was going on.

"I need your help articuno. Zapdos and moltres battle are causing this island great damage. If they are not stopped in time I'm not sure if the island will be able to withstand the attacks."

Articuno began to muse for a second taking in everything that was going on. Then came to a decision.

Articuno:Thank you for informing me about this. I will put a stop to this right now.

Articuno began to flap its wings as it gathered power up. Launching out the cave articuno launched into the direction of the fight.

I also rushed outside not wanting to miss the chance of watching a once in a life time fight.

As soon as articuno arrived outside the fire and thunderstorm died down as they were replaced by a snowstorm.

They shivered as they stared at the true articuno. I was surprised at the fact that even legendary pokemon can even be scared.

I took out my phone to scan all three

These pokemon are way out my league. Grandma Slowking can handle two of the birds but the articuno is way out of her league.

I watched as articuno started off the battle laughing a terrifying blizzard at both pokemon striking them.

This angered the birds as they stopped targeting each other and focused on articuno.

Zapdos launched a terrifying lighting strike but it was blocked by a icebeam.

Moltres having the type advantage used flamethrower trying to beat articuno by type advantage.

But articuno proved to be to strong launching a devastating hurricane.

Which ripped through the flamethrower striking moltres. I stood in awe at a true legendary strength.

Humanity right now wouldn't be able to hold a candle to such legendaries. If they were to attack right now the world would end.

Articuno deciding to finish off the battle launched a strong icebeam encasing both moltres and zapdos freezing them.

Looking at the two downed pokemon my worries went away. Articuno began to descend as it came to my side.

Articuno:The task is complete human now it is time to return you to your home.

"Wait can you Atleast tell me when you legendaries are going to begin the attack on humanity and why."

Articuno was in thought for a second as it spoke.

Articuno:I can't say much but all I can say is you have until next year to prepare. I am excited to see what humanity has to offer.

You have already impressed me with your courage so I will leave you with a gift. Articuno flew back to the cave as it arrived back with a pokemon following its trail.

I was shocked to see it was another articuno.

True articuno:Human this is my off spring I am placing my trust in you to raise it. If you fail to meet my expectations I will be very disappointed.

It has just been born and has great potential.

"Thanks for trusting me articuno I'll make sure to make your offspring the best articuno it can be."

Taking out a pokeball I pressed it onto articuno body. Taking it into the pokeball.

I finally have my third pokemon.

With that said articuno let me hop on its back as it took me from the mysterious island back to land.

Making my exit I waved goodbye to articuno. Finding the closest city to make my way back to Miami.

I'm sure the news will be pretty big with me arriving back.
