Chapter 91: City to Watch, Part 1

Elgin National, March 31, 2037, Tuesday Morning

National's newest time pilgrims in training, Centehua and Stan were scheduled to meet with Professor Phelps in the Raymond Room. Ansonia told them she wanted to try and train them as faux partners. She knew they still had the advantage of National's proximity to the Fox River and the mild electrical field constantly being generated. This would make up for any non-compatibility that might exist between the trainees. She would train them as if they were taking the compatibility test. This was a brand new and untried technique.

The trainees were already initially trained on the various techniques, but neither had mastered all of them. The first item was the traveling out of phase portion. Ansonia's theory was because Stan had done well with this; some of his technique might transfer to Centehua. The same might be true with the incremental time-traveling that Centehua seemed to excel at.
