Mom and Momma stayed with us until Makai and I felt like we had the situation under control. The boys were just a day old, and neither of us had ever taken care of a baby on our own. However, we had taken those parenting classes. Well, I took two of them and Makai only took one. And while having the boys actually here with us was a little different than the classes, I thought that we would be OK.

In truth, it was right after we had enjoyed our breakfast that we told Mom and Momma that we would be fine on our own for a little while. They were welcome to come back later, but we were expecting Ben and Ryan soon. They were coming over in about a half an hour, and then after that the rest of them were all coming. It's just that Ben and Ryan were here in the building with us, and they asked if they could come with just the two of them.
