It didn't take me long to reach the forest I usually trained inside of, and when I did, I accepted that my Personal mission was over.

Up until this point, as I read all of this, I felt a strange sense of dejavu. Is this not a bit similar to that one novel I read forever ago?

Divine rank? What the hell was divine rank? So far, according to the system, all ratings have gone from D-Rank till S-rank, what is this new bullshit?

Right as I was thinking that, a whole new System Panel showed up, something that was only for myself and for my attributes, something that seemed unique from other players.

At that, I paused reading the system page.


This was very different from the original novel. If I was not mistaken, in the original novel the main character's power was Shadow Bond, where he would essentially have to find a master to truly be as powerful as possible.

But obviously, I didn't have something like that.

That is good, I definitely didn't want to be someone's slave, even if it is inside of a game. What is the point of playing said games then?

Reading the extra part of the system's message, which seemed to be sent from the AI I couldn't help but laugh a little, it seems like the game will take a drastic turn soon, especially with how overpowered Sunny aspect is.

And me getting gifted the higher tier of VR headset would probably help me too, considering I was using the lower tier right now.


I didn't really understand why the cooperation would be willing to do this though…but maybe this had something to do with how players can now make money? Or a reward system to motivate players beyond the curve.


 But how the hell were people who didn't have insider knowledge like me supposed to reach this level.

I then opened up my new status page which had everything shortened.

The very obvious change was that my Chakra had become Shadow Chakra, and I had awakened what seemed to be cores…so if this follows the novel, I will have 7 times the Chakra of normal people of my rank after awakening all cores.

My Flying Thunder God Jutsu disappeared from my status page and I had an idea that it had something to do with my new Aspects.

With this, I should comfortably be able to fight Madara and more in my prime.


Unless Madara himself has gotten buffed, well then I might be screwed.

Seeing the 3 extra buttons at the bottom, I pressed on the Genin Aspect Abiliter and more information opened up.

Just like in the novel, the description was useless, but I knew how truly invaluable my Shadow was now. 

I could use it to move far past my senses, around 10 Kilometers, probably, and sense everything in the shadows around me. 

My shadow could also augment me and my strength will essentially double while augmented.

And that was only when I had 1 Shadow. I get 1 Shadow for each Shadow Chakra core…so the overall utility of my aspect was definitely high.

I then checked my next ability.

Chunin Aspect Ability: Shadow God Steps 

Chunin Aspect Ability Description: You can move freely between Shadows, traveling from one to another in an instant. This ability has been merged with the Flying ThunderGod Jutsu to cost minimal Shadow Chakra upon usage.

This ability was also broken in its own right, when surrounded by Shadows, I would basically be appearing everywhere at the same time.

That meant that with the 8 Gates if used properly, I could be fighting hundreds of opponents at the same time…

Jonin Aspect Ability: Shadow Manifestation 

Jonin Aspect Ability Description: You can manifest shadows as tangible objects

Another ability that was extremely versatile. Since I was of the Jonin rank right now, any object I manifested would be of Jonin rank, but as I ranked up, the Shadows I manifested would also grow much stronger.

This Aspect might not have pure combat skills that could kill enemies, but most abilities here are perfectly synergistic with already existing abilities I had.

For example if my Shadows are now tangible, I can use them as Chakra strings, trap the enemy and kill them with my neck binding Jutsu.

And since I can use Shadow God Steps now, I can truly make a web of Shadow strings in a couple of seconds.

And my base ability itself will get more and more stronger as I awaken Shadow Cores.

This is all not including the hidden part of the Aspect I have to get into.


But I will look into that later.


For now, I have to see one more thing.

Author's note:

This chapter really took a lot out of me. To have to think about how to integrate both worlds of Aspects and the Ninja world. 

To be honest, I am sick and tired of the vanilla world that is everywhere, man is reincarnated, gets strong with either Naruto, Bleach or One piece powers.

Since I have the chance to write my own novel right now, I am experimenting. I hope everyone will like the whole Shadowy theme I am going for.

We have almost reached the end of volume 1

If we reach 200 power stones, I will upload an extra chapter for THAT week.

Every subsequent 100 power stones is another extra chapter for THAT week.
