Jacob looked at the 30 gold bricks in front of him with wide eyes. He reached out with his hands, pausing. "May I?"
Ning shrugged.
Jacob picked up the brick with great struggle and knew that these bricks of gold were real. One would have to check further, but as it was, they looked real.
"Where did they come from?" Jacob asked curiously.
"I stored them in a treasure of mine," Ning said. "You can test them if you want, but tell me first if these are enough for me to meet with the Inventor."
"Yes, yes," the man said quickly. "They are more than enough. Who are you? I don't think I've ever heard of your name."
"I'm a nobody," Ning said. "But I do have money, so I suppose I'm somebody. How should I meet sir Zarius now?"
