Blacklight [#1]

When he woke up- He no longer was on his room like he expected to be, no, he was surrounded by rubbles and shouts and screams of pain and panic alongside the sound of explosions. He stumbled but managed to get to his feet, confused as to why was he even alive, because when he looked down there was too much blood and too little people, which meant it was his! Also, his shirt was completely torn, but his skin was bloodied and there were no signs of any injury, in fact, Alex never felt better in his life! He slowly peeked out of the broken pieces of a home he found himself in and saw a sight he thought impossible- A large floating metallic fish-like flying thing that broke through a skyscraper right in front of him, and on the streets, these humanoid grey things holding onto blue glowing weaponry or riding a glider that floated by unknown means.

'Avengers? Really?' From all the worlds Alex spent time thinking that he'd reincarnate to if there ever was the chance, Marvel certainly was on the list, but not on the Avengers timeline! 'Well, there's still some hope-' His words were cut off when a burning pain exploded on his chest, he looked down and sure enough, there was a hole there- is that his esophagus? Damn! He raised his head to look at the shit who shot him and saw the Chitauri running to kill another citizen when a unnatural sensation filled his mind, he looked down at the hole as it closed off, and he no longer had a hole on his body. "the fuck?" he whispered out loud, the sensation of moving within him made him shiver because of something-

Insects.

He hated Insects, and it felt like there were ants crawling inside him! "Fuck-" Just before another blue bullet could hit him, he lowered himself, dodging the attack from another Chitauri, this time he didn't stay put but instead returned to the rubbles he came out of and hid there for a second, listening for footsteps of the approaching Chitauri- He didn't know what he would do, but he held a piece of cement on his hand and was ready to smash it down on the bitch- It was a single second, he embraced himself for it when suddenly the wall behind him was blasted open by something and he felt his body freeze as a Chitauri holding a large canon was simply shooting large blue energy projectiles everywhere.

This... He hasn't seen this before.

Sadly, one of these energy balls hit him, partially destroyed his left arm and burned away his cells, making him scream in pain of loosing a limb. He was panting, his blood was everywhere, he coughed due to dust as he got up slowly and looked- his arm, or his stump in this case, was glowing with a red light where his veins should be! Instantly, this black mass with red lines of light pulsed out of his stump and formed a long whip-like arm with a double scythe blade at the end, the blade was like the rest of his arm, black and red. "Holy shit-" He cursed, and as he let out these words, a beep sound echoed in his head:

"Not now-" He quickly whipped his arm forward, the double scythe-like blades on the end were really sharp, because they cut the Chitauri's arm off, or Alex was ridiculously lucky! 'Shit, i gotta get that thing.' Alex quickly ran up to it, and as he ran, all he could think of was how he wanted to get there as the Chitauri was weeping in pain was slowly getting up, there were more of them around and he was pretty sure he would get hurt! The fear of death pushed him forward, and he didn't notice how his legs were surrounded by thick black mass that thinned out, leaving only his legs that looked longer and thinner, but also sharp as there were blades on the end of his feet! It took his two seconds to get there, which is really fast for someone who was a complete ordinary human until recently! His first instinct was to kick the Chitauri, not asking himself how he got there so fast, only that he did. "Die, bitch." He kicked the thing, only then seeing how his feet nails were sharpened to make blade-like protrusions, his feet and legs had the same black thing with red light on it too.

The blade sank into the skull of the Chitauri, broke through the metallic protection on their head, and sank into the brain of the humanoid thing before it went through the rest and the head of the Chitauri was exploded by the sheer strength of Alex's kick: 'Holy shit-' The device he now stood was almost like if a tank could float, a cannon on top of a big piece of metal that floated- Oh, he was floating in the air, so he must've jumped up here to get on top of this thing: "Huh, neat." So he can run fast, he has a whip-like arm that goes some meters in lenght if he wants, and he regenerates really quick... What else changed?

Huh, Blacklight Virus? "Does this mean..." He grabbed the Chitauri and felt it, his fingers sank into the flesh of the creature and he saw the red lines spread through it all before pulling back into him, leaving behind the non-organic things that were inside the Chitauri. They all fell on the floating cannon thing or down the ground as Alex felt information flood his mind, everything the Chitauri knew he learned! Their language and their thoughts, seeing as they were all clones created by the Hive Mother, the big spaceship on outerspace right now that was spitting these things out using the big blue portal on top of the Avengers, or rather, Tony Stark's tower.

Besides that, he also received [+100] of Biomass, which he asked an explanation from the system, and it was the 'points' his ability required to create new active abilities. He created both [Whip Arm] and [Swift Legs] on a whim, only focusing on what he needed at the moment! The skill [Regeneration] came alongside the power, and as for the lore of the game... Is he really Alex Oxford or is he the virus that thinks he is Alex Oxford...?

Does it matter though?

Yeah, it doesn't really.

To increase the level of his skills he would need to consume Biomass too, using it to increase the power of his skills was one of the quickest ways to empower himself, the other being the good ol' fashioned continuous and harduos training! 'I mean...' Looking around himself, at the chaos and pain all around, Alex knew a few things were needed, a few abilities- Most importantly something to hide his appearance, a suit of sorts, or rather- An armor! 'That's it.' He had speed with his [Swift Legs], range with his [Whip Arms], and now protection with this! He focused on the feeling of weight around his body, his mind quickly came with the image of a black armor with red details on it, he also thought of adding wings to it, but he instinctually knew- it wasn't possible with his power for now.

Meaning he could maybe get wings in the future!

Soon the black biomass surrounding his body cracked and solidified, strengthening itself in the process until the armor he wished covered his whole body!

And like that, he had a disguise slash protective suit around him! 'So... Killing?' He moved quickly, not as quickly as he once was without armor, but quickly nonetheless! He stopped to kill a Chitauri and absorb them, each Chitauri gave him 100 Biomass, while the corpse of some humans gabe him 50 Biomass. Yes, he absolutely absorbed the corpses of the people around him- why? Because if he wants to survive this world, he needs power, and since there's a lot of corpses around he won't let them go to waste right now! His left arm transformed into the big double-scythe whip that he used to kill Chitauri quickly and from a distance, he also dodged a few of their shots but every time one of them hit him, he would take less and less damage from whatever energy their projectiles were made out of! He also made sure to save whoever he could, since he's not an asshole y'know!?

Regardless, time went on and more and more Chitauri appeared- He now has 10,200 Biomass points because he killed 90 Chitauri giving him 9,000 points while the rest came from the 24 Civilians corpses he consumed. He stopped doing that when his mind got overwhelmed by the memories going rampant inside his mind, their whole lives were within him and he couldn't focus on organizing them now because he was fighting more Chitauri! The gate didn't seem to be closing anytime soon- 'Fuck... How can i stop this headache?' Mind Control and Memory Reading were great dsngers Alex has been worrying about, so he took a moment to create a few abilities more-

[Tendril lvl 1: Shoots out a tendril from anywhere that contains your biomass]

[Shield lvl 1: You create a shield with your biomass, protecting you from damaged]

[Hungry Mind lvl 1: Your mind evolved due to the constant exposure to other's memories, thoughts personalities, and emotions- To not loose your sense of self, your mind started devouring, consuming the others withon you, becoming strong in the process! Increases your mental capabilities by each mind you consume.]

[Blade lvl 1: You create a blade out of biomass, it can appear from any place in your biomass.]

[Musclemass lvl 1: You surround your muslces with your biomass, increasing your strength, speed, stamina, and power by a significant amount.]

Five new skills, but they all were useful, the [Hungry Mind] being the one he considered most useful of them all! It cost him 5,000 Biomass points to make this skill, apparently his body could continuously evolve and adapt to the environment, but it would cost him biomass to make skills that makes the adaptation and evolution process much faster! Those being, of course, much less painful than it should've been! 'I wonder if I'll adapt to fire...?' Thinking about it... He won't try that, thank you very much! Regardless, the [Tendril] skill was really useful because it was like having an extra limb to use, which he materialized the [Blade] skill on it so he cleave off heads while moving towards the tower where the portal still was open for some fucking reason! He had now a total of 6,550 Biomass points that he decided to use to bring some of his skills to level 2!

Those being:

[Tendril lvl 2] - He managed to now make two tendrils instead of one.

[Blade lvl 2] - He can now create two blades, they're also sharper than before.

[Swift Legs lvl 2] - His speed increased by a lot, the blades on the tip of his feet were sharper and a little bit bigger too.

[Whip Arm lvl 2] - Not only could he turn both his arms into scythe blades of death, the range that his arm could stretch out also increased by some meters.

[Armor lvl 2] - His armor was stronger now, heavier too, but stronger none the less!

[Shield lvl 2] - He could make two shields at the same time now, and they also started growing spikes on them, which is interesting.

[Musclemass lvl 2] - Everything he gets from this skill increases a little bit.

Each skill level up from level 1 to level 2 cost him 500 biomass points, meaning he used 3,500 points to increase all these skills above to level two! From level two to level three, the amount of points were a 1,000 per skill, from level 3 to level 4 it was 2,000 and so on so forth.

He now has 3,050 points left on him as his body flings towards the Stark tower as his tendrils pull him to the top of it like some black and red Spider-Man. What he saw when he got there was troublesome-

Hulk, or rather, Bruce Banner on the ground unconscious, Tony Stark being held up to the wall by green chains of energy, Black Widow fighting off Clint Barton who had knives on both hands, and Thor clashing with his hammer against a blue skinned Loki-

"Sorry for interrupting."

Alex just jumped off.
