Edward talked to Episode all night long. He didn't try to become a father figure to the boy, as he knew he couldn't keep that promise.

So, he decided to give the boy a good moral lesson by making it clear about what he was wrong or right without worrying about something as fragile as morality.

Seeing the light of hope in the eye of the boy who was completely asked to find himself in the world.

"From now on, I want you to find something worth protecting and protect it with your life without worrying about what it would affect the world" Edward spoke with a gentle smile as he patted the boy's head "be a hero for someone"

"But how am I going to do this?" Episode asked"I'm a monster"

At no point in his half-vampire life had he let go of the fact that he was a monster, the huntresses who harboured him had spoken thousands of times of the fact that he was a monster until a moment when he accepted it.

"Of course that, you have to figure it out by yourself," Edward said pulling away from the boy, "Go on a journey of discovery after bringing Kiss-Shot's leg"

Edward took one last look at the boy and tucked the rest of the doughnuts under his arm. He then jumped up, making a big shock wave and disappeared

Episode thought as he looked up at the sky, seeing Edward disappear in the distance. He felt a trickle of happiness inside him as he looked at himself

For the first time in a long time, Episode thought about being something other than a monster and for the first time, he felt free.

Edward landed in front of the old school and began to hum as he took little hops instead of steps to enter the school.

He made it through the corridors in seconds and arrived at the front of the room where Shinobu and Tsubasa were playing a fervent match.

Shinobu in her teen form was literally with her head gasping and being cornered by Tsubasa's moves

"Y-H-I-N-O-B-U-C-H-A-N" Edward let out a squeak with a beautiful mischievous smile on his face.

He opened his arms as he took steps forward, picking up speed towards Shinobu

He tried to run away, but it was too late. Edward was already very close to her

Edward's arms touched her waist and his body slammed into her body because he couldn't slow down.

"Gaaa" Shinobu gasped

When the two fell to the ground and bounced once before sliding a few inches

"Shinobu, I missed you so much" Edward cried emotionally as if he hadn't seen Shinobu for decades

He started to rub his face in her face as he hugged her tightly.

Tsubasa watched that scene with amusement. El tried to interfere, but when he realized that Shinobu wasn't reacting and just stood there letting out some light giggles.

Tsubasa shrugged and turned his attention to his chess move. She could win at that moment as she was easily in a moment of giving checkmate to the king of Shinobu

Shinobu, who noticed Tsubasa looking at the board, had to choose between being spoiled by Edward or going back to her game where she was close to regaining her pride after losing all 100 games she played with Tsubasa

"Get off the top" Shinobu screamed desperately and kneed Edward in the stomach, making him fly against the ceiling

"Ghaa" Edward moaned, flinching as he felt the strong impact he felt as he hit the ceiling and fell to the ground beside Shinobu, not moving as if he had died.

He opened his eyes slowly and saw the boy getting up to run to the table, where the chessboard was faster than he thought possible.

Edward frowned, realizing the game was over. Shinobu wouldn't have a chance to win this match

Tsubasa had such control over the game that it felt like she was just dragging the game to enjoy Shinobu's despair.

He then got up and sat down next to Shinobu who looked at him for a second as if he was asking for help.

"Here" He pointed to a piece

When Shinobu looked at the piece. He pressed a kiss to her cheek. Shinobu froze, but...

"well done, my servant" Shinobu muttered happily when he saw the piece and moved it

It was an easy play to vent, all she did was avoid her defeat in the next rounds.

"Hmm" Tsubasa looked at Shinobu's play and then looked at Edward suspiciously

She realized exactly what he wanted to do, which was to lead Tsubasa astray with one simple move. But, he forgot that she was Hanekawa Tsubasa the person who knew everything she knew

So the game is over

Both Shinobu and Edward will fall into a trap

"Damn" the two yelled in frustration

"I've arrived" A scream caught the attention of the three that made them look at the window where Oshino Meme was holding a bag in her hand.
