Bk3: Ch– 54 Prince’s quarters(pt-2)

Lais was feeling the hit of the words but stayed in his position.

“Brother, please do not talk about people like that. It is not respectable to talk about people’s misfortunes.” His voice was calm but firm.

His eyes felt as if he could pierce a sword at the person in front of him now. Although, even if it was a reality, he still couldn’t hope to hit anything as the guards behind him were alert and looking at him for any movement. He noticed it as they joined in, standing behind the third prince. They were here to bully him and use the soldiers to create trouble. That is an excellent way to lower his character here. However, Lais stood his ground. While his brother was trained, he knew he was not good at fighting. The only one to put him in his place is Ehsan standing with Farad, just observing.

"Misfortunes? Hah, you say we should be mindful of telling the truth." Asad laughed.
