Can't Get Rid Of The Bitterness

"He might be able to do something, My queen..." Anthony responded. "Perhaps it's a risk worth taking." He was aware of what the prince meant to Ruby and had seen how she'd become a shadow of herself without him here. All Anthony wanted -- all he was after was Ruby's happiness and he was ready to do anything that would secure that for her.

"So it is a good idea?" Ruby asked again as if to be sure of what Anthony was saying.

"It might not be a good idea... It might be risky," Anthony replied. "But we're talking about Prince Seth here...  your Prince Seth," Anthony hammered. "We should see what he can do."

"Do you think he'll even respond to my summon?"

"That's another issue..." Anthony replied. He had spent some time with Ling and had gotten a whiff of who and how the man was. He was loyal to the core but at the same time, Anthony knew of the affection that Ling had for Seth.
