Chapter 18

February 20th

I sighed as I sat up in my bed... Thank god it's Saturday! I got out of my bed and went to make breakfast. I made myself cereal. I sat down and ate it. After a while I looked at the clock.

3:47

Holy shit I couldn't have slept in that long... Could I? I ran to my room and got my phone. Ten texts from Adrianna... Oh shit!

Hey I'm in Hunters Hollow.

Where do you live, cuz I need to find you

I texted back.

Sorry I just woke up.

I put my phone down. I take a bite of my cereal which is now soggy. I dump it out and sit on the couch, lazily flipping through the channels. Silas started barking which meant Adrianna and her pack are here. I opened the door.

"Adena?" A girl who I'm assuming is Adrianna asked

"Adrianna?" I ask

"Yeah." She said

"Come in." I say

Adrianna and three others walk in.

"This is Julian, Gregg, and Taylor." She said

Julian had mid-length brown curly hair and he stood at six foot four. Gregg had short blonde hair and he was five foot seven. Taylor had long red hair and freckles dotted on her face. She was shorter than Julian but taller than Gregg.

"Hi I'm Adena." I say

"So where's Lola?" Adrianna asked

"She should be on her way." I say

Lola opened the door and shut it.

"Sorry I'm late, I had to lie to my dad  with a fake explanation where I was going and what I was doing." Lola says

"Your father knows?" Adrianna asks

"None of our families do, except my sister she's a witch." I say

"Oh, I would advise you didn't tell them." Adrianna said

"Why not?" Asked Lola

"Because when Gregg told his father he almost killed Gregg." Adrianna said

"So I heard about this Theo guy, he sounds like a real jackass." Julian says

"He's my ex." I say

"Oh, sorry." He says

"It's fine... I just want him out of my life." I say

"We can help with that." Gregg smiles

"I want to take him my self but to do that I need a pack." I say

"Ok." Adrianna says

"Wait just like that, we're in the pack?" Lola asks

"No, the alpha has to accept you into the pack and to do that you have to look into the alphas eyes and no matter what you see you cannot look away." Adrianna says

"Me first." Lola says

"Are you sure?" Adrianna asks

"Yeah." Lola says

Lola's eyes go dark green. Adrianna looked at Lola's eyes with her red eyes. Lola kept staring. Lola didn't move. She only breathed.

About ten minutes later Adrianna shut her eyes and Lola's where now golden color.

"Your turn." Adrianna said

I walked up to Adrianna and looked straight into her eyes. I looked at her eyes. I saw nothing but fire. What is this supposed to mean? I already know I'm not going to live after my senior year.

Adrianna closed her eyes. Mine where now golden like Lola's. Adrianna almost fell. I took her arm and hoisted her up.

"Does that happen every time you admit a wolf in your pack." I ask

"Yeah, I don't have to go through this when I bite someone though." Adrianna says

"How long does this last?" I ask

"Not long I just feel light headed for a couple of minutes but it's different for every alpha." Adrianna says

"I read that in Mandy's supernatural documents." Lola says

"So is there any plan for taking down Theo and his pack?" Asks Adrianna

"We all go to fight Theo's pack where ever that may be, and then you all kill off his betas which takes his power away, then leave Theo to me." I say

"Sounds good." Gregg and Julian say

"So is any other supernatural figure in this battle?" Adrianna asks

"Witches, Wendigos, and Hunters." I say

"Hunters?" Adrianna asks

"Yeah." Lola and I say

"Hunters." Adrianna says

Adrianna's light head must have stopped she stood straight and looked at me.

"Why are their Hunters on your side?" Adrianna asks

"You have a best friend who's a hunter." Gregg says to Adrianna

"That's different." Adrianna says

"No it's not the Hunters who are helping us here are my best friends, my friends Nick and Madeline... But we call her Mandy for short." I say

"Fine... I'm sorry I freaked out on you but I only know my Mandy and Ryan and I don't know you Madeline and Nick... I haven't met them, so I have a right to be frightened." Adrianna says

"I get it you miss home." I say

"Not only that my best friend Alex is leaving for England soon." Adrianna says

"How long?" I ask

"She moving there." Adrianna said

"I'm so sorry." I say

"It's fine, but I made a promise to you and that I would help you take Theo and his pack down... So I'm going to stay true on my promise." Adrianna says

"Thank you Adrianna, if there's anything I can do-"

"We fight tonight." Adrianna says

All of us where quite... Adrianna's pack looked at me. I stood there frozen. Then I spoke the words.

"We fight tonight!" I said

The five of them cheered.

"You arrange it." Adrianna says

"Ok." I say

I get out my phone and text Theo.

Your pack against mine... Tonight in  the woods at 10

Why, and where did you get a pack.

eBay like I said in the woods at 10 unless your too scared.

I'm not, we'll be there.

I shut off my phone.

"The woods at ten." I say

"You know tonight's a full moon right?" Asks Taylor

"Yeah, this will give us power we need to take them down." Adrianna says

"Any strategy?" Asks Gregg

"We wing it." Lola says
