Nolan reaches a door and inserts his key inside. He turns and opens the door, walking through the passageway.
His loft is two-story. I could see the curved white staircase which leads upstairs and the window door that leads to a large balcony. It was big but at the same time felt so homey. There are pictures of Nolan on the wall with different people, some with Aiden when he was younger.
I look at the table beside the door and observe mini Aiden. He had an arm slung around Nolan in the picture, both of them in a school uniform. Aiden looks slender and taller than the shorter and even scrawnier Nolan. It was weird to see Nolan without his muscles. His hair was in a short crop, and his brown eyes framed with long lashes. Aiden, on the other hand, wore a toothy grin. His face looks boyish for a thirteen-year-old, and his green eyes are almost doe-like.
I smiled. "Wow, Aiden."
