Chapter 233 A Ruthless World

I do not consider myself a proud person, at least not extremely proud but it still hurt me to admit that I had underestimated this world too much, my first clue must have been the painful beating that Mei gave me, but for some reason even then I didn´t think too much of this world.

In the first place, I thought that the so-called martial arts of this world would not be very different from the ones I knew… that was a big mistake.

After following Mei who kept jumping across the rooftops of buildings, in a matter of minutes we reached what looked like a massive collection of dueling areas, with some equipment visible in certain sections, this seemed to be the training area from which Mei spoke and this was where the combat tests were held.
