"When will I see our hometown again, Brother?" Edgar sighed.

Mattheus primly sat in the armchair, a contrast to his older brother's sprawl. He focused on nursing the glass of whisky, staring into its golden depths rather than glancing at the other man.

"It's been even longer for me. That overnight trip a few months ago does not count," he drawled in response to Edgar's joking melodramatics. 

"Mattheus…"

Pale gray eyes peeked up, seeing that the previous sprawl Edgar had been in became even worse. It was the type of sitting that was more half-lying down in a seat, where one sat at the very edge and leaned back. Added that with the fact Edgar had undone his shirt and tie to the point he was baring a few inches of skin…

"Mother will kill you if she saw you in this state," the youngest Crown couldn't help but remark.
