The Empty Land

William arched his eyebrows at Albert's answer. Did he just say fine? 

"Are there really a place like that in this dense mountains? I didn't mean in the rainforest below since it'll be quite hard to survive there."

The forest might sound like a good place for them to stay but rain forest meant that the place would be wet most of the time. It would be hard for them to start fire in wet environment while right now, it was very important for them to have fire.

At the very least, they could only resort to this since they didn't have any heater.

Albert nodded. "Since that's what you want, I'll bring you to the place. It might not be that good yet, but you can make use of that place rather than heading to the ruins of the city."

"Can you show us?"

"Sure." Albert narrowed his eyes. "But I'll have a request that I hope you can fulfill afterwards."
