"Are you free this Saturday?"

Alan could literally hear his heart pounding inside his chest as soon as those words finally came out of his mouth. It was like he was somehow freed from overthinking the minute he said that.

On the other hand, Sakura took a pause and tried to process first what she heard from Alan just now and started wondering what might be the possible reason that Alan is asking him this.

Thinking that she had her weekend off as always, Sakura finally answered Alan's question. "Yeah, I think I don't have anything to do this Saturday besides the usual grocery thing. Why do you ask anyway?"
