Mister Pyg

"Luckily, we have some free time. We should try to do something, or we'll all perish in this room. How about we look for any hints to help us escape or something useful that we can use in this situation?" Mark pondered as he devised a strategy.

Seeing that there were no oppositions to it, especially by Bryan. The others quickly agreed to Mark's proposal, as they immediately began searching the whole area.

Another unfruitful search was done as all of them got dejected, but what they rather found out was that the light that was shining above their heads, was actually a single piece of rock, as it constantly emitted a feeble light.

Soon despair grew in their heats as no one answered their calls, and there's no possible way to escape in this prison.

Upon seeing that the rest of the group was getting dispirited. Bryan soon thought of a way to lighten up the mood.

"Not long from now. I have a feeling someone would come here and rescue us like a damsel in distress that's being saved by a knight in shining armor fighting a dragon." Bryan joked. However, looking at their faces, it seems like it was ineffective, so he coughed in embarrassment.

"Are you really sure, that someone might save us?" Lisa understood that it was a joke, but she still wanted to give herself some kind of assurance.

"I'm not sure. But think about it. Why did they imprison us here, to begin with? They will, without a doubt, come and justify it to us." Bryan looked at her with a grave expression on his face and replied solemnly.

"You're right, Bryan." Lisa admitted, "how could I have been so foolish, I'm truly sorry."

....

Time soon turned the seconds into minutes and the rest of the group felt stuck in this small dilapidated room for the remainder of their lives, as they felt those minutes pass like ages.

The group soon turned quiet, as their figures faded into the darkness.

All of them daydreamed, about the time they were in the outside world, and felt it was unfair, that this happened to them, those daydreams soon turned into laughter as they went out with friends and slowly changed to the faces of their closest loved ones.

Not for long, as they were all sitting around the room daydreaming about the outside world until they suddenly heard a set of footsteps approaching them. Though, they all tend to ignore it at first, believing that it was just their mind playing tricks on them. But, It soon dawned upon them, that after the set of footsteps outside the door did not seem to have stopped, but rather grew in pace as it got closer to them.

"pitter-patter, pitter-patter"

After finalizing it once again that it truly is actual footsteps coming from outside the door. A sudden burst of gleam emerged in their eyes. As the desperation, they had felt earlier vanished like a spring breeze.

All of them, except Bryan hurriedly rushed to the door and doing all they could to catch the newcomer's attention.

"Is someone else there?" The group of youths screamed at the top of their lungs.

Gradually, their throats got sore from the screaming as they already did it too many times. But they didn't seem to mind because it was the only way for them to get out of here as soon as possible.

"We're right around the corner! Please help us!"

The figure appears to have noticed their distress call, as it approached the door at a rapid pace.

Slowly but surely, the group noticed a thick metallic stench emanating from the cracks in the door. And soon, the stench grows even worse as the figure gets closer to them.

Hearing that the footsteps were closing in, they quickly raised their voices even higher. As it gradually changes from a scream to a shriek like a pig.

Sophia on the other hand pondered upon smelling that heavy metallic stench coming from outside the door. At the same time, feeling an oddly familiar scent from it.

"Isn't this a familiar odor to all of you?" Sophia gasped in astonishment.

"What do you mean?" Lisa responded, puzzled.

"As you are already aware, I am a medical student. And I've been involved in a variety of incidents, both good and bad, and after smelling this metallic stench. It has that unpleasant odor that kinda reminds me of the stench of blood." Sophia hurriedly responded when she became aware of his beliefs.

When all of them heard what she said especially, Bryan. All of them immediately froze like statues and went silent. However, when they found out that the person standing outside the door had stopped in front of them, they trembled in fear.

The word "Shit" instantly appeared in Bryan's mind, upon seeing a shadow looming over the crack in the door.

"Wait! What do we do?"

"We're all going to die!"

"How fucking stupid it was, for me to believe we'd be rescued."

"Please leave, Please..."

"Please, God, save me..."

All of them quickly backed away deeper into the room. Desperation was written on all over their faces, yet, given enough time, no noise was heard coming from outside the door. As if the person who had stopped there had simply disappeared.

All of their breathing can be heard, as they panted vigorously in the room, their faces are drenched with sweat, and their heartbeats are racing at a breakneck speed. While using their unblinking fear-driven eyes to stare at the door ahead of them. Waiting for the newcomer to unlock it.

A few seconds went past, and they felt as if those few seconds were taking a toll on their minds. Their sweat slowly dripped on the ground, but it didn't bother them at all, because they were absolutely terrified.

Seeing that no unusual incident occurred on the door at all, they all breathed a sigh of relief.

But to their dismay, they all heard the door making a creaking sound as it slowly opened, and the sight of the appearance of the man outside the door will haunt them for the remainder of their lives.

It was a humanoid creature standing 3 meters tall with hooves, claws, fur growing all over his body, pig-like ears, a blood-covered snout, blood covering from his entire forearm going to his torso. Coupled with his burly physique, and menacing appearance, which can cause people with weak minds to faint from fear.

Seeing such a horrible creature, the group looked in sheer terror, as their legs were rooted at the spot and trembling uncontrollably.

"Hello there, students. I'm Mister Pyg, and I'm glad to see you're all alive and well." Mister Pyg gave the sweetest smile he could muster, at the same time, surveying the entire group, like he was a predator hunting his delicious prey. Ready to shed blood.
