Aegis looked at the fallout of battle with critical eyes as he watched his engineers repair the damage that was done to his defense towers, thanks to the hard-light barrier, there was no breach into mansion, still almost all outside defense towers were either damaged or outright destroyed.

"Sir, there wasn't any loss of life on our side, but more than 974 of your battle droids were destroyed, and another two hundred are in a critical state, then there is a matter of more than hundred of towers being overrun, and your personal ship needs serious repairs."

Engineer chief who came after battle said to Aegis who just nodded, all that could be done with money easily enough, Aegis was glad that he didn't lose any of his people, still it bugged Aegis wrong way when he remembered the Grimm battle...

In the first half of the battle, it was like a standard battle between Grimm and his forces, but then came the surprise.

Another horde of Grimm came, this one was more armored and intelligent, but rather than attacking the defenses and droids, they attacked their fellow Grimm that battled me previously...

After that, it was shirt battle, the younger looking Grimms were destroyed and Aegis was left standing in open as he and the other group of Grimms looked at each other.

And just when Aegis was about to ready himself for another fight, the Grimm that looked as leader nodded with its head at Aegis and started to retread slowly, with his brethren following him.

Aegis didn't attack them, and his soldiers that came with airships as reinforced too let them be after they saw Aegis don't move, still it left Aegis with a lot of questions...

"Just what are you planning, Salem?"

Aegis asked himself as he made his way to the inside house and let his people deal with repairs...

Cinder asked Salem, who just chuckled as she watched Schnee mansion from one of her magic orbs.

"Mh, yes dear Cinder, after all it's clear he isn't Ozpin lapdog, and I think you would be sad if he became hurt, right?"

Salem asked as she saw Cinder fidget on her spot, truly what chances were to find another reincarnated child and one that didn't have anything to do with the cursed brothers...

Salem said as she patted Cinder on the head and smiled coldly.

Salem said with coldness, she was sure that it was the boy who implanted Tyrian with that bomb, after all there weren't any other who would have such technology or guts to do, and Ozpin little group was to scare of her retaliation to dare and provoke her so outrightly...

"Mistress, why did the Grimms didn't listen to your command?"

Cinder asked as she found it strange that the previous Grimms didn't listen to her mistress command for retreat.

"They were young and too easy driven up to be their instincts child, just the older ones can control their instincts, and there was something happing inside that mansion that driven Grimm mad."

Salem said puzzledly as she too found it strange, just what happened before the horde attack that it was so strong as to overwrite her commands?

"No matter, the time of your reunion is coming, aren't you happy to finally meet the person from your dreams?"

She would kill gods, no matter how much she would wait for it, they would pay for what they have done, and then she could die without regrets...

Ciri asked as she waked up from her sleep, and then her years of training kicked up as she bolted up from her bed just to find herself bound to the bed.
