Sylvia's POV

Penelope comes in a few minutes later, fuming mad. " I warned you! " Her Mexican accent is strong and heavy. " I told you to behave yourself! " she slaps me hard enough for me to fall back on the couch I had been rising from. 

She grabs my hair and hits my head against the glass table, holding it there. 

I can taste blood in my mouth. No matter how hard I struggle to move, I can't. She has a very strong grip. 

" Are you the first girl to be brought here? What makes you think you're special, huh? " she asks, using more force. 

Any more and my skull might break.
