63: Future Generations (Part 2)

First, let's talk about the talents or at least interesting kids Klein saw.

He watched the recorded exams of the Recommendation Exams, which were somewhat different and interesting by themselves. The Recommendation Exam was divided into three parts: Written, Physical, and Capturing. The Written part doesn't need an explanation, they just answered questions! The physical test was divided into three categories, everyone could use their quirks ro achieve a great score, the tests were: High Jump, Long Distance Race, and Breaking Force Test.

The Capturing test was simple, they just had to capture a robot without destroying it in 5 minutes. The robot was hidden amongst three buildings, they were all small-sized and had enough windows to see the inside, so locating it was easy, containing it, however, was not as much. The robot was heavy and it moved too much, to contain it, you would need to make it fall and tumble, landing on its back where it would be unable to get back... Just like a turtle. However, his belly was fragile, so you couldn't kick it and be done with it! If you were too slow, the robot would escape, if you were too strong the robot would break, if you were too weak the robot would not even react. It was a good enough difficulty so the stupid ones would be eliminated by this test while the above-average would get through.

Now back to the future generations talk. Klein watched the recordings to that exam and may he say: They were intriguing. There was the Yayorozu girl which he is very much familiar with, the Yayorozus have been trained by him and been taught his martial arts ever since yes. They were notorious Fallen Angels, most of the Yayorozu family had interesting quirks that fell into three categories: Matter, Body, Energy. The ability to change matter, the changes in the body, and the ability to control energy. The Yayorozu girl was from the Matter category, as she could change her fat into other types of matter, if she was from the 'Body' category she would be able to use her fat to increase her strength or something else.

The categories above are used only in the Yayorozu family, because of their unique quirks. The leader of the Yayorozu family, Yozuriko Yayorozu, father of Momo Yayorozu, Jezu Yayorozu, Kurani Yayorozu, and Zunichi Yayorozu can change matter by touching it and using his stamina as fuel to change it. If I went and made a complete list of every member of the Yayorozu family, there would be more than 10,000 words.

Anyway, apart from the Yayorozu girl, there was also the Todoroki boy, which had a great quirk, being able to freeze and burn at the same time. However, he didn't use all of his power, refusing to use his fire side, which Klein considered to be a stupid decision, but he respected the boy's decision as it was: Stupid. Next was a guy with a wind quirk, which gave him complete control over the wind around him, his control over it was good enough for Klein to consider taking him as his apprentice and teaching him about energy/elemental constructs. Klein could easily use energy to create solids, Holy Energy, Unholy Energy, Cosmic Energy, Void Energy, Kaos Energy, C-01, Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. (A/N: We may look bad, but we don't care! Sorry)

There were others, like a person with a quirk that had both the properties of both rubber and gum, one who could shapeshift into dinosaurs, one who could make machines from his limbs, and one girl who could control sound, etc. (A/N: Lots of references to several other novels)

They were interesting but nothing Klein hasn't seen in his years of life. The Yayorozu girl caught his attention because of her quirk, which differs from the other Yayorozu's! While some can only change matter from outside, she can change her very matter, her fat matter. It is a special matter in itself, she can control it and even change It, and this matter can take any form known by her. She can also use this matter that her body produces to mimic any other item that she knows the composition of, which is something Klein can do but by spending some energy to do so. The Todoroki boy caught his attention because of the internal balance of energy the boy had, Klein's body can adapt and copy any energy, but other's bodies have different ways to use their quirks which involves elements or energies.

We have the Battery Users, which are like the name says, batteries. They store energy the body produces from internal or external means and use it, sometimes they can be recharged by absorbing the energy they use from the surrounding. Next, we have the Producers, which are the ones who produce their very energy using their body, the energy they produce cannot exceed a certain maximum quantity, differently from Batteries which can store more than their normal maximum limit. And at last but not least, we have the Overcharged, they are special types which can use their stamina as fuel to overcharge their very own energy, making it explode outwards like a bomb. The Todoroky boy was a Producer, but his body produced two energies: Hot and Cold energies, and they were in perfect harmony until he used his quirk, which breaks the balance as he only uses his ice side.

Breaking the harmony causes minor damage, which manifests on the boy's body as frostbites. If the boy kept the balance between his inner energies, then he would be stronger, but oh well, foolish youngster. Other kids caught his attention, but only these two were worth it, for now, to keep an eye on. The Yayorozu Family was a long one, and the only ⅛ of it had the honor to bo a Fallen Angel, the other ⅞ could only learn the martial arts at Elysium.
