Cautious

Dr. William gave me a faint smile before we entered the elevator. She pressed the twenty-eighth-floor button and the elevator started descending. From what I could see from the buttons there are forty floors all over the building.

*Zing!* The elevator finally came to a halt and the door opened. We ended up entering a hallway. As we continued to move, we have never encountered anything dangerous so far. Hmm. It might be true that the company is closed during the outbreak. Is that a coincidence?

"Ayah! We are finally at Inotech!" Xavier said enthusiastically and stretched his arm as soon as we landed on the heliport of the Inotech Headquarters. He jumped excitedly out of the helicopter.

"I'm going ahead now!" He ran off all of a sudden.

"Hey! Wait! It's dangerous to head alone!" I tried to call him as I jumped out of the helicopter. But he still kept running like he didn't hear anything.
