The morning rays of the sun woke Xin Wei from his slumber feeling a bit groggy and his body a bit stiff. He just experienced a life-and-death situation last night which he almost regretted going.

As he stretches his stiff body, Xin Wei could not help but almost want to curse at his weak body.

"Am I going to be just a weak mortal in this world?" he muttered while looking at his palms.

But then upon thinking of his goals in this lifetime, he relaxes.

His life's goal is to change his sad life and live a full life instead.

"Having the power or none… I guess it is how I should view things from now on…" he muttered.

While his thought was occupied by a lot of things, his old crystal phone rang.

"Hello…" he accepted the call.

Xin Wei frowned a bit upon hearing the words of the person on the other line.

"Yes, I will be reporting today then… Thank you for reminding me…" he said then hangs up the phone.
