Chapter 40

Last night had been bittersweet. Sure it was nice and all, but Jason's reaction was uncalled for. Why did he act like that? My head hurt from thinking of it too much to the point that the stress of everything came rushing to me and I just fell asleep somewhere, I don't know, my last memories are very foggy. When I thought my day and that event is done and over with, my dream just had to ride along with it. Why was it Cinderella-themed? Was it because of last night? I'll never understand how minds work.

I wake up to the sound of my door being slammed open. I jolt up to see Kathleen holding a spatula and looking at me as if she wants to kill me. "Get up already!" Kathleen walks forward to pull the sheets off of me. "Breakfast is ready!" And just like that, she walked out. Well, there goes my morning.
