Chapter 51: Missed You

"Good morning passengers this your captain speaking. First, I would like to welcome everyone on Rightwing Flight 86A. We are currently cruising at an altitude of 33,000 feet at an airspeed of 400 miles per hour. The time is 6:15 am. The weather looks good and with the tailwind on our side we are expecting to land in Seattle approximately fifteen minutes ahead of schedule. The weather in Seattle is clear and sunny, with a high of 85 degrees for this afternoon. If the weather cooperates, we should get a great view of the city as we descend. Until then, sit back, relax and enjoy the rest of the flight."

I have been awake for several hours now. I slept heavily and woken too early...the jet lag sucked at me like some colossal leech draining me of my energy. I would simply describe this Jet lag as like coming off night shift. The fatigue was all the same but at least it held an edge of anticipation for a new day in a new place. But who am I to complain?
