Wang Jiasi & Ye Ruyi (41)

He Changxi was amused by Wang Jiasi possessiveness of Ye Ruyi.

Ye Ruyi, who suddenly being hugged by Wang Jiasi, stiffened her body.

What's wrong with him suddenly pulled her into his embrace?

"Since you guys never been here before, shall I show you guys around the city?"

"We don't mind at all. Thank you, Mr He."

Before Ye Ruyi could speak, Wang Jiasi was already responding to He Changxi. He Changxi could feel the hostility from him.

At this moment, Old Master Chang came down and sat beside Ye Ruyi.

"Ruyi ah, go out and explore the city. Changxi will bring you guys tour around. Remember to be back to eat dinner with me."

"Okay, grandfather."

And with that, the three of them got ready. While the couple gone out of the mansion, Old Master Chang pulled He Changxi over.

"Changxi, what do you think of my granddaughter?"

"She's beautiful and a nice girl. I'm quite fond of her as a person."

"Well, do your best to win her heart. I'm counting on you to get rid of that surname Wang. You're the only grandson-in-law I acknowledged."

He Changxi pursed his lips upon hearing what Old Master Chang said.

He didn't like to separate the couple but Old Master Chang seems to really dislike Wang Jiasi that he wanted him to get rid of him.

He Changxi nodded to Old Master Chang before heading out.

Although he nodded, he didn't actually agree to Old Master Chang. He's not someone who will try to separate a couple.

After that, the three of them went on a tour in City S and He Changxi was their tour guide. He drove them around and introduced famous places and eateries.

It was fantastic. Ye Ruyi was quite fond of City S's scenery. However, Wang Jiasi kept his guard up against He Changxi the whole time in case he made a move on Ye Ruyi.

After a tour, they went back to Chang mansion. Old Master Chang was waiting for them to have dinner with him.

He invited He Changxi to stay for dinner just so he can spend more time with his granddaughter.

Throughout the dinner, except for Wang Jiasi, all of them chatted happily.

After dinner, Old Master Chang asked He Changxi to come to his study with him while instructing a servant to escort Ye Ruyi and Wang Jiasi to their room.

"Changxi ah, how was it? Did Ruyi at least a little interested in you?"

As if one day can change her mind. He Changxi secretly rolled his eyes.

"Grandfather Chang. I don't think it's appropriate for me to interfere in their relationship. Besides, their relationship was quite strong. Grandfather Chang, how about just accept the fact that Mr Wang was a good man to Miss Ye. As long as Miss Ye was treated well, nothing matters, right?"

He Changxi was right. Old Master Chang was just reluctant to accept Wang Jiasi.

"Grandfather Chang, I'll go back first. Please visit my grandpa whenever you're free. He was quite lonely these days."

"Okay. I will. Tell that old man to wait for me."

He Changxi then left. Old Master Chang clicked his tongue in annoyance. Because of Wang Jiasi's past behavior, he was biased towards him that he will not change.

Old Master Chang then called his two bodyguards, Old One and Old Two. Those two could be considered as his left and right assistants too.

"Arrange something for me. This is the plan. It's...."

Old One and Old Two looked at each other before nodding their head. They went out and carried their duty.

This will be Wang Jiasi's final test. If he passed, he'll acknowledge him as his grandson-in-law.
