The morning that followed found Soo-Ah sitting in solitude, having her breakfast in her chamber. And she had a wonderful arrangement of sweet and salty cakes, various dry types of meat and fresh fruit. Leisurely nibbling at a piece of sweet cake, she exhaled in disappointment. How could she feel so alone in a house that was filled with people baffled her? She decided from now on she would try to have her meals in the kitchen, where at least she will have the company of others. Or she could ask Yu-Mi to join her. Though the first to cross her mind, asking Jung-In would be inappropriate. But having Yu-Mi's presence would serve as the perfect excuse to get closer to the little girl.

Bora entered her room, knocking twice and not awaiting any invitation, to take away her breakfast tray. The servant moved around the room with skill and practiced gestures. Not before leaving she was quick to inform her that Mistress Myeong was waiting for her in her study.
