The game begins

Mrs. Robins

As soon as I felt better, I immediately left the hospital. My husband wouldn't leave me alone at any time and kept calling me all the time to make sure he wasn't going to do another madness, instead, I still had these strange dreams that seemed too real I swore were to see Leo so weak and tired, in one I was able to talk a little more with him.

—Mom help me, please —the child says in a tone of supplication.

—How can I help you, where are you, honey? —The worried mother asks.

—... I don't know, but it's dark and I've never seen this place before, it's so strange, Mom. I just want to go home —Leo replies confusedly.

—Describe to me what the place is like —she says insistently.

—It's dark, with a myriad of rooms, but the front door is never, in fact, I don't think there's one, it's like I'm in another world —the Leo replies.

That was the last dream I had with Leo, I remembered what I had researched about the parallel worlds before I was admitted to the hospital and contacted a specialist who could help me. The specialist came to my house at night to inspect the place where Leo disappeared, to try to get some clues.

—Mrs. Robins, this room has a lot of accumulated energy concentration. With all this energy there may be more than one portal connecting our world in this house along with others. Seeing this is something extraordinary because there are very rare places that can have something like this —says the specialist maintaining professionalism.

—And Leo is in one of those worlds? —Mrs. Robins asks with hope.

—It's possible from what you've told me, but unfortunately, it can also get us to the wrong place. Can you give me more details of Leo's disappearance? —The specialist responds by analyzing the situation.

—I understand, let's go to the room to discuss the details —Mrs. Robins replies.

I told him everything that had happened since Leo's disappearance to Specialist Richard, including the dreams I have where I see Leo in that strange place. Then my husband came to the house and I knew we'd have to talk about it.

—Honey, who is he? —The husband asks as he looks at Mr. Richard.

—He is a specialist in paranormal phenomena and he can help us find out where Leo is —replies Mrs. Robins.

Richard told him the theory of Leo's disappearance from start to finish and my husband talked to him in the living room for a while I was preparing dinner.

—Well, tomorrow I'll bring my team and everything I need to start the little one's search. See you tomorrow, Mr. and Mrs. Robins —Richard says goodbye as he walks out the door.

My husband and I talked about it over dinner and managed to convince him it was a good idea to try or at least it was better than waiting for the police to do something.

Tonight I didn't meet Leo in my dreams and that worries me a lot, I have a bad feeling, I know something's not right, but I just have to wait the next day.

The next day...

Richard and his team showed up early in my house, it was around 7:00 AM when you started hearing too much noise in the living room, it was Richard along with his team came into the house with all kinds of gadgets and computers I've never seen before, it seems this if it's serious.

—Mrs. Robins, this is my team. This is Miss Collins, the newest on the team —Richard says as she accommodates a monitor in the living room.

A girl with brown hair reached out to me, looked a little nervous and that gave up that she was the group's rookie, but she seemed very nice.

—He liked it a lot —Collins replies nervously.

—Mr. Wells, you've been working with me for several years —Richard approaches Mr. Wells.

Mr. Wells had a more mature air, his eyes were a very deep blue and at the same time sad.

—Excuse the intrusion —Mr. Wells replies in a cold tone.

—Miss Blair is a great friend of mine and like the rest is a specialist on the subject —Richard says with a broad smile.

Miss Blair seemed more spiritual than the rest of the team and reminded me very much of Leo with his warmth to make people feel welcome.

—At your service —Blair smiles.

—And last but not least, he's my lifelong colleague Mr. Mcreery," Richard says as he pats McCreery on the back.

Mr. Mcreery looked younger and more cheerful than Richard, perhaps his hazel eyes made them look like this.

—We will do everything we can to bring Leo back —Mr. Mcreery says as he stares at Mrs. Robins.

They all began to accommodate the devices they brought throughout the house, cables came out from everywhere that connected to one of these artifacts, but especially inside Leo's room because the increased energy charge that connected to the portal, was behind that door and the hope he had lost some time ago would re-emerge.
