"Desperate Slum Monsters" 

If the roots didn't eat meat, they either had to absorb nutrients from the water for a long time or got some nutrients from other sources but the amount should be bigger than just eating blood and meat. 

The number of monsters and beasts in this lake was absolutely immeasurable because people didn't even know the true depth and width of the lake. 

Sometimes, the lake looked like a medium-sized lake that wasn't so big until it could have large boats sailing in circles for hours. 

But maybe because this lake was also on the island that existed in the strange crack of space, which was why, the actual space of the lake could change over time. 

There were many animals living in the lake, and many more tried to get into Acacia town, either to get a good life and a safe house, or just to hunt the abundant number of animals living there.
