But the flying-type beasts and monsters they had tamed were all ready to disturb these 'angels' among clouds. 

It was soon to be nighttime outside, but this was exactly why Wilhelm had a hunch that the war would start in just a few hours. 

Their blood clan members were creatures of the night, and they would be more powerful when it was dark. 

The celestials must have planned to wait until tomorrow when the sun went up, but the blood clan's king might not give them that chance.
