Chapter 37: The Werewolf of Marblechase

“Where am I…? Do I recognize this place…?”

Kai was laying on a very uncomfortable bed. He was covered by a blanket and was fully dressed under it. His body hurt all over.

“Ouch… It’s like I got ran over by a truck.”

He tried getting up, but he got dizzy right after. He felt a funny sensation inside his chest area.

“Where is this? Why is this room so dark? This is not my room. Is it somewhere in Aimee’s?”

He waited a bit more before he got up.

“Aimee?” He wanted to speak loudly but his voice came out hoarse and weak.

‘Water…’ He thought. ‘I need water.’

Kai realized he was very hungry. So hungry the stomach wasn’t even accusing anymore. It’s like he hadn’t eaten for days.

‘What’s this? My arms are far thinner. What’s going on? Did I just… Stay here without anybody feeding me at all? Where’s Aimee?’
