Chapter 17: Outer Dimension

Kai was surrounded and couldn’t even see the enemy.

‘For the time being, I need to run away from that one.’ He thought.

The beams were almost reaching where he was. He needed to keep on the run, or he’d have to do the same thing he did on the floor above and he wasn’t sure he could outdo himself like that once more.

‘I’m tired as f*ck. Which means I should run out of energy pretty soon… Damn… What do I do? What do I do!?’

The presence behind him started moving faster and was almost right above him.

‘It’s like the other time…’

Kai stopped and began running to the opposite direction, while reasoning:

‘I know there are more there, but screw it! I didn’t look behind, but there is probably a gazillion of those in my back as well.’

A beam passed right to his side after he dodged it using even more orgaion for the maneuver.
