It took some convincing, but finally Serena convinced her mother to let her show her new friends around, and once they left the race track, Death, who was still carrying Summer in spite of the fact that she had already woken up, looked at Serena "Aside from going to Anistar City to see the Sundial there, what other locations does our beautiful tour guide suggest?" Death asked Serena, it hadn't gone unnoticed by him that she seemed to be attracted to him.
And Death certainly thought that Serena was attractive as well, so he decided to flirt a bit and see how she would react.
Serena blushed and seemed just a little bit flustered, but not enough to render her speechless "Anistar City is a bit far if we're to be back in time for the Champion battle, so I was thinking either the Battle Chateau or Parfum Palace. We can higher a driver to take us there and to bring us back" she explained.
"I've heard a bit about Parfum Palace, but what can you tell me about Battle Chateau?" Death asked Serena with a huge grin on his face, clearly enjoying how she was flustered by his words to her complimenting her as beautiful.
"It's a place where trainers gather to fight other trainers. You can even encounter gym leaders there, or so I've heard." Serena explained to him "I don't have details, really, since I was never there before personally, but it should be interesting."
"That sounds promising." Leaf said with a grin "I wouldn't mind a good fight to give my Pokémon some experience against others"
"I don't mind either" Valerie agreed.
Death nodded "Battle Chateau it is then" he smiled at Leaf and Valerie and then looked at Serena Please accompany us to this place"
------
The drive to the Battle Chateau took about three hours, during which time Serena finally built up the nerve to ask Valerie and Leaf about what their relationship was with Death. Serena was rather surprised to learn that they were both dating him, and they did not seem too opposed to the idea of other girls dating him as well.
How could it not be surprising that two girls were so alright with dating the same guy and with that guy dating even more girls as well. Serena really thought that Death seemed like a great and handsome guy, but she wasn't ready to make a decision without some serious consideration, so they talked about other things for the rest of the trip.
The Battle Chateau was a huge building with 12 private battlefields inside it for private duels that were not to be shared publicly and one grand battlefield where many people could observe the duels. There was also a second building that functioned as a small hotel for those that wanted to spend the night here.
Serena had accessed information using her phone and told them that much at least just before they arrived
At the Battle Chateau, Serena thanked the driver and then led Death, Leaf, Valerie, Esdeath and Summer into the buildings entryway, where many people were gathered around a beautiful woman with short black hair in a somewhat pointy and stylized manner and blue eyes, who was wearing white shoes, snug white shorts, a white blouse and a fancy white jacket. There was very little gold accenting in the outfit, which was otherwise just white.
Death recognized her from posters he saw in Lumiose City, as the Challenger facing the Kalos regions champion in two days.
This was perfect. Death smiled and started approaching the group, using a bit of force mind coercion to make everyone except Diantha start falling asleep "good afternoon Miss Diantha" he greeted her.
"Did you do this?" Diantha asked him with surprise.
"I just told them to go to sleep since you were looking a bit overwhelmed there" Death insisted "this is a pleasant surprise, I thought I wouldn't get to meet you until you fought the champion,"
"Oh, and did you need something in particular from me?" Diantha asked with surprise.
"Can we get a private Duel Field. There is something I'll show you there, and then I'll give you some extremely beneficial information." Death explained to her "Once you are champion, all you need to do is help Professor Sycamore get his research properly accepted. He has worked hard to better everyone's understanding of Pokémon only to be called a fraud and a hack because accepting what he has proven means realizing that researchers in the past made a huge blunder and oversight. t's easier to put their fingers in their ears and pretend it is him that is wrong."
"Can you prove his claims true?" Diantha asked with an arched brow.
"You already have the proof, or you will in two days" Death insisted "I'll explain in the arena."
Diantha seemed to seriously consider his words a bit, then shrugged "Well, I'll hear you out then" she said, not really sure why she was trusting this young man, but doing it anyway, so she went to a counter to arrange to use a duel field.
A short time later, Death and the others followed Diantha into a private arena. Death certainly did not mind following the elegant twenty-year old beauty, but tried not to leer at her body inappropriately.
Once they were inside, Diantha looked at him "Okay. what did you want to tell me."
"Your gardevoir knows the moves Dazzling Gleam and Moonblast, both of which are publicly considered to be normal-type moves, which are generally considered to be not very effective against dragon type Pokémon. This, however, is wrong on multiple levels." Death explained to her cheerfully "Firstly, most dragons tend to have higher physical defense then special defense, and most normal-type Pokémon moves tend to be physical moves, leading to this misunderstanding. Even so, this does not matter because Dazzling Gleam and Moonblast were never normal-type moves to begin with. They are Fairy-type Pokémon moves. Gardevoir is a duel-typed Fairy and Psychic Pokémon, with it's fairy typing granting complete immunity to Dragon-type attacks."
Death retrieved a Pokéball from his belt "I can demonstrate with one of my Pokémon if you want. It knows four dragon-type moves. Twister, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Breath, and Dragon Rage."
Diantha nodded and moved to the other end of the arena and called out her Gardevoir.
------
Notification : Keystone, Mega Stone and compatible Pokémon are all present.
------
Death smiled when he say the Gardevoir wearing a stone similar to the one his gyarados wore "That is a nice accessory, and it wasn't on the promotional posters."
His system gave him knowledge of the functions of Keystones and Mega Stones "Since you have that, I'll give you another treat I was going to save for later. Serena, would you please record my Gyarados with your phone? This will be valuable data to forward to professor Sycamore."
"Okay, sure" Serena readied her phone and Death called out his Gyarados, which roared when it appeared "Hello buddy. Are you ready to get stronger?" he asked.
The Gyarados looked at Death and nodded his head.
Death looked at Serena and verified she was recording, then retrieved the Keystone from his Pocket and held it in his hand, looking towards Gyarados "BEYOND EVOLUTION! MEGA EVOLVE!" he called out Dramatically.
Gyarados roared again, then began glowing and grew about 25% larger with much more prominent fins and a black underside.
Seeing Gyarados, which was supposed to be fully evolved, undergo such a transformation very much surprised Diantha "Can my Gardevoir do that as well?" she asked.
Death nodded "I sense a connection between your Gardevoir and that Mega Stone she wears, so they should be compatible. You just need a Keystone."
Death analyzed his Gyarados a moment before looking back at Diantha "Normally, Mega evolution should make a Pokémon considerably stronger, but in this particular case, if I were to properly go against your Gardevoir in battle with it, in spite of the boost to strength which is of course considerable, it would put Gyarados at a disadvantage overall. Mega Gyarados is a Water and Dark Type Pokémon, and just like Dragon-types, Dark-Types are also considerably weak to Fairy-type Pokémon Moves. Dark-type would be advantageous against a purely Psychic type Pokémon, but since Fairy-Type resists Dark and Dark is weak against Fairy, Mega exolving in such a battle would be foolish. These are the kind of things to consider before using Mega Evolution."
"So a Pokémon's typing can change when it Mega Evolves as well?" Diantha asked with genuine surprise "That's interesting."
Death looked at Leviathan the Gyarados "There will be opportunities in the future for you to truly battle in this new form, Leviathan, but for now I called you out for a demonstration. You see, Fairy-type Pokémon haven't been properly recognized as their own typing yet, and I need you to assist me in proving it to Miss Diantha. You see, Fairy-Type Pokémon are immune to Dragon-type energy, so your Dragon Breath, Dragon Rage and Dragon Pulse Attacks wont hurt Gardevoir at all, and your twister wont hurt her either unless it scoops up something else and hits her with that. Don't feel bad because those attacks can't harm her, though, as there is no shame in such a thing when you are demonstrating against absolute immunity."
Leviathan nodded in understanding, then looked at the Gardeoir.
"Gardevoir, please trust me. You have no need to dodge these attacks." Death said to Diantha's Gardevoir "Use this as an opportunity to get a feel for Dragon-type energy, to better know which attacks you need to dodge and which ones you can just disregard and ignore."
Gardevoir looked to Diantha to see what she thought, and Diantha nodded to her Pokémon "I think we can trust him."
Death had Serena record the demonstration of all four attacks along with Gardevoir's confirmation that she wasn't hurt at all, then he thanked Leviathan and returned him to his Luxury Pokéball. Death then walked over to Gardevoir and Diantha "Can I see that necklace of yours for a moment, Miss Diantha?"
"Oh....Sure..." Diantha seemed a bit confused, but took off the necklace and handed it to Death, who used Arc of embodiment to to insert a copy of his keystone into a conveniently sized hole that the necklace had, then he passed it back to Diantha.
"How?" Diantha asked with surprise.
Death chuckled "Serena, do you mind recording once more while Miss Diantha tries to Mega Evolve her Gardevoir?" he asked.
As soon as Serena started doing that, death went to pick up Summer, who was strggling again do to this worlds gravity. He had used space magic to lesson the effect of the gravity she was being subjected too by a large degree, but it was still quite a bit more then what she was accustomed too, and as she adapted it would allow her to feel greater and greater levels of gravity until she could truly withstand this world.
Salem had applied the same magic to Prime RWBY while he had applied it to Prime Neo and little Summer.

POV Diantha Carnet
She sat in the hotel dining area in a private booth, thinking back to what she had seen and learned a couple hours earlier, and the clever and handsome young man named Death. He hadn't seemed even a little bit fazed by all of her fame, and she was not used to that.
Even when men swarmed her and asked her for autographs, they never treated her normally, and every guy that had the spine to ask her out on a date was a piece of trash or were completely unable to conceal their perverse thoughts from their eyes. There was no way she would agree to date someone that leered at her body and was unable to stop eying her with lustful eyes even when she was trying to have a conversation with him.
The only half-decent guy she had met so far was Lysandre, but he was old enough to be her father, so obviously she'd long ruled him out as a potential boyfriend, especially considering her first experience with a man, but what about Death?
A slight blush came to her cheeks when she asked herself that. She could tell that Death was attracted to her, but it didn't consume him like it did with many of her fans. He could still have a proper conversation with her and she didn't feel grimy and dirty under his gaze. She was used to feeling disgusting and grimy, but with Death she felt clean and relaxed for some reason.
"Good evening" she heard a familiar voice and turned towards it and found Death standing there. "Do you mind if I join you and we chat?" Death suggested to her.
Diantha nodded "Sure. Are you sure your girlfriends wont be jealous?" she asked, thinking to dig for information a bit.
Death took a seat across from Diantha "They wont have a problem with it. I just have a sort of way of getting women to fall in love with me even if I don't specifically try. It's a natural charisma, I guess. They tend to not get angry about such matters as long as any girl I start dating has an emotional bond with me. No casual sex is the only real rule."
"So why did you decide to come see me again?" Diantha asked with curiosity, a bit disappointed that he was already dating someone.
"You remind me a lot of one of my wives, so I thought you could use the company." Death insisted "Her name is Pyrrha Nikos. Before I met her, she was a celebrity, called by many 'the Invincible Girl'. I was the first to be able to even touch her in a duel, and I managed to beat her in that duel, and she ended up falling in love with me because of it, though I did not know it until years later. After her loss to me, she went back to being seen as invincible, since I didn't join any more tournaments, and her fame and reputation ended up being disruptive to her social interactions, as everyone thought she was so far above them, and so she became lonely Eventually we met again, and she came around to admitting to herself how she felt towards me, and she and I started dating, and I made it one of my missions to make sure she was always happy."
Diantha sighed, realizing that he had already seen through her to such an extent "How old are you?" she was beginning to wonder if he was really younger the her.
"By the Calendar of my world, I am 34 years old. By this worlds Calendar, I am just over 11 years old. People of Remnant age faster then they do here." Death explained to Diantha "In Remnant, there are 365 days in a year, or 52 weeks plus one extra day, or two extra days every 4th year for leap year."
In this Pokémon World, each month was 6 weeks long (42 days) and there was 26 months in the year, with each season happening two times each year. As such, one year here was just shy of three years on Remnant or in his original world.
"Your from another world?" Diantha asked, a bit skeptically.
"I am, but I am here to help out this world from future threats, and to just experience more of the beauty that this world has to offer." Death smiled at Diantha then "Would I be correct is stating that you would enjoy going on a date with me tomorrow?" he suggested.
Diantha's cheeks became a bit redder "If you are asking, then I'll agree."
"Good, then I'll meet you in the morning." Death agreed and chuckled.

POV Death Rose
Death certainly did have a bit of an agenda when he decided to approach Diantha and be honest with her. It wasn't that he wanted to manipulate her or anything, but because of a notification he received from his system while he had been eating in his room with Summer, Valerie, Leaf, Serena, and Esdeath, which convinced him to leave an avatar with them while he went in search of Diantha personally.
------
Quest Complete : Champions First Spark of Love
Diantha Carnet is struggling to come to terms with her affection towards you. If left to her own devices, her feelings may spawn into an unhealthy direction and become dangerous. Convince her to take things slower or prevent her from falling in love with you at all.
You successfully used honesty and convinced her to slow her down her thoughts, getting her to think more rationally. Congradulations, Diantha will not become a Yandere.
Reward : Basic Comprehension of the Law of Nothingness, Random World Lore x3
World Lore added to System : Rising on the Shield Hero, Final Fantasy 7, Against the Gods
------
Death was thrilled with the quest update because it meant that she wasn't going to become a Yandere. The rewards were probably great as well, but he didn't care about them as much as he cared about not creating any Yandere's. That was, without a doubt, the greatest reward in Death's mind.
"Are you alright?" Diantha asked with concern "You seemed to be spacing out there."
"Sorry about that." Death smiled at her "I'll see you in the morning. What time is good for you?"
"Eight?" Diantha suggested.
"That's perfect." Death then got up to leave her to enjoy her meal "It was nice talking to you." he waved as he was leaving.
------
POV Diantha Carnet
As she opened the door to exit her room, she was surprised to find Death waiting outside of it, smiling and offering her his hand like a gentleman. She smiled and delicately placed her hand into his, and she watched as he entwined their fingers together "Good morning" she greeted him.
Death stepped up to her and kissed her cheek before opening a portal and hooking his free arm around her waist to step through it with her.
Diantha was surprised by the appearance of the portal and then them passing through it, but she had no time to comment as they were already through to the other side "Welcome to the Kingdom of Vale" he explained to her, grinning. They were on top of the tallest building in the surrounding area, so it allowed them to see buildings as far as the eye could see.
Diantha was flabbergasted "How many people live here?" she asked Death.
"Just a bit short of eight hundred million." Death answered to her even greater surprise.
"How is that possible?" Diantha asked him.
"The right question is why was that necessary." Death countered "This world was haunted by soulless monsters called the Creature's of Grimm since as long as humanity has existed, and these abominations have always been instinctively driven to try to destroy humanity, so to survive humanity chose specific locations with natural barriers to build kingdoms where they could flourish. These are basically megacities, with the rest of the world being too dangerous to live in."
Diantha was shocked by this information. To have a vast world but be forcing the whole population into a small number of locations seemed quite the difficult way of existing "How many of these Megacity Kingdoms are there?"
"Well, this is Vale, then there is Vacuo, Mistral, Mantle and Menagerie." Death explained to her and gently squeezed her hand "There is also Atlas, which is relatively small and is basically the upper city above Mantle. Thanks to myself with the assistance of an elite few others, though, we finally wiped out the threat that was the Creatures of Grimm off the face of Remnant, and now new settlements have started springing up all over the wilderness. That was around 2 years ago by your calendar, or 6ish in ours."
"Why are you telling me this? I mean, I'm glad you are, but you must have a reason." Diantha insisted.
"You aren't wrong" Death chuckled "Well, I sometimes get quests and advise from a deity that calls himself the One-Above-All, and last night I was told that your thoughts were drifting into a potentially dangerous direction, so I came looking for you. I figured the best way to make sure you retained your logical thought processes was with the truth. I decided to give you the truth so that you would be forced to slow down what you were thinking about due to the new information rather then accidentally stumbling down a dangerous road. My other option was breaking your heart, but I actually am attracted too you and you seem like a great person, so that was never really an option for me."
"A god?" Diantha was genuinely surprised.
"Even your world has a god, dear Diantha" Death chuckled "If your world has Arceus, it shouldn't be too surprising that other gods exist in other worlds."
Diantha sighed "This is not what I expected when you invited me on a date." she pointed out to him.
"Oh, I still have a proper date planned" Death reassured her "I just wanted to start things off with full disclosure of a few things, since I already sprung so much on you last night. I wanted you to understand why I did that" Death insisted "If we might have a relationship in the future I didn't want to start it out with manipulation. This stop is just about proving that another world exists and clearing my conscience and not feeling like a jerk towards a kind and beautiful woman."
Diantha visibly relaxed when she heard him say that, and was actually quite relieved, since he was treating romance with her very seriously, and she felt confident that he wouldn't sleep with her and then throw her away like she was nothing. "Okay. Then lets get to the proper date, okay?"
Death nodded "Coming here also has a second benefit, considering our next destination" he created another portal and, with his arm still securely around her waist, escorted her through it again and into a theater that seemed to be empty.
"A theater?" Diantha asked with confusion..
Death chuckled "I thought that since you are an actress, you might enjoy some movies from other worlds." he led her to the back and center of the small theater and they sat down, and then he used Arc of Embodiment to make the theater begin playing the Princess Bride. He had prepared a list of movies and shows to share with her, and just thought that this was a great starting point.
He figured he was right then as the movie went to credits, Diantha got up and sat on his lap and started kissing him passionately. They made out for about twenty minutes before Diantha, with eyes filled with lust, looked into his eyes "Need a bed."
"Are you sure?" Death asked "Once you become my woman, we'll be bound together for eternity. I am immortal."
"That's fine." Diantha insisted.
Out of curiosity, he checked his notifications, which he had silenced before meeting up for this date, and found that he had linked himself mind and heart and soul with Diantha, which he still hadn't done with Valerie or Leaf yet, in spite of how close he was with them. Those two still had a slight hesitation, while Diantha had fully given herself in to the feelings in her heart and embraced his small spark of divinity.
Well, since it had already come to this point, he wasn't going to back away. He rose to his feat while picking Diantha up in a bridal carry and opened a portal and stepped through it and appeared in the home in his Ranch dimension. Since Summer was away for a few days on that vacation in Kalos, he did not expect any interruptions here.
Death carefully set Diantha down on the edge of the bed and used arc of embodiment to vanish away all of her clothes and her necklace and Pokéballs, and placed them into a neat pile beside the bed, and he repeated the same process right after with his own clothes.
Diantha was surprised by how quickly she found themselves both naked, but quickly composed herself "Well, do you like what you see?"
"Of course I do, Diantha. You are gorgeous." Death insisted and sat beside her before wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her up onto his lap and beginning to passionately kiss her.
She was enjoying it at first, but after a few moments, reason started passing through her mind and she pulled back "W...wait..."
Death respected her decision and met her eyes "Is there a problem?"
"I want too...Oh I want too so badly, but it's not a safe time. I can't get swept up in emotions and end up pregnant. I'm not ready for that yet." Diantha explained to him "I'm sorry for leading you on. I wasn't thinking clearly."
"I get it" Death kissed her cheek "I have a tiny spark of divinity in me, which functions a bit like an aura of charisma. I alluded to that before, you may recall. It can't make you do anything you don't want too, but it might make your instincts to get near me a bit more powerful. It is understandable that you may have gotten swept up in your emotions."
"Th...thank you" Diantha said to him, relieved that he seemed so understanding.
She still felt a bit bad about getting to this state and not going all the way, so she decided to make it up to him by slipping off of his lap and getting on her knees in front of him and beginning to give him a blowjob. She was rather shocked by the length and girth of him down there, but still did her best to satisfy him.
------
Diantha had no experience with blowjobs, so her performance wasn't the best, but she was a famous and gorgeous actress who was willing to do it at all and did her best, so Death had no complaints at all. She could have easily been prideful and considered the very act of giving him a blowjob as beneath her or something, but that did not seem to be the case.
After she finished, they got cleaned up and redressed and returned to the theater built in Lyonesse, only it wasn't empty now "Father!" a 14/15 year old white-haired girl with light blue eyes rushed over and hugged him. It was none other then Yuki Schnee, his daughter by Weiss.
"Father?" Diantha was genuinely surprised that he had a father that looked not much younger then him.
"Dear Diantha, I am immortal and stopped aging at 17 years old, and I told you that while chronologically by your worlds Calendar I am 11 years old, I am 34 years old by my worlds calendar. It shouldn't be that surprising that Yuki is my beautiful third child and first biological daughter. She has an older brother as well as an older sister whom I adopted."
"It never occurred to me to ask before, but how many children do you have, dear?" Diantha asked with curiosity.
"Fifteen, Five sons and ten daughters, with one more darling child due in the next few weeks. My wife Pyrrha is pregnant." Death explained to Diantha, then looked at Yuki "Yuki dear, do you mind gathering your mothers and siblings that are here. I know Salem is away at the moment, but if the others can make it, I'd like to introduce them to Diantha here and put on something cool here" he gestured to the theater screen.
"Alright father" Yuki gave him one last hug before taking off to do as he asked.
------
Diantha was surprised when the whole gang turned up, altogether she met 20 wives and 14 of his children. It turned out that with the exception of his eldest, adopted daughter, all of his wives and children had been present in Lyonesse, so she met each of them.
After everyone gathered together, the special show he put on was all three seasons of RWBY Chibi. It was mostly uneventful, except for at one point when Weiss blurted out "Wait, so that's why you had me name the Grimm Wyvern Kevin?"
------
Apart from a somewhat weird start to the date, Diantha had a lot of fun, and meeting Death's wives was interesting. They were all so kind to her, and she already felt like the were already her sisters.
For a little orphan girl with big dreams of making it as a movie star and as a champion trainer, the feeling of having a family was pretty foreign to her, but she found herself enjoying it immensely. It also amazed her that she truly wanted to have sex with Death. Considering her past bad experiences with mem, she feared she would never be able to trust a man to a sufficient enough extent to have sex.
Diantha was not some pure virgin, she wore a lot of white and tried to play the part of a pure-hearted maiden, but deep down she had felt absolutely filthy for a long time. She had lost her virginity when she was twelve years old. She was just trying to break into the movie industry and hadn't gotten an agent yet, but she kept trying our for different roles while being filled with determination. Then it happened.
She finally got a call back and went to meet the director alone. The 43 year old director had said she was very suitable for the role, but asked her what she was willing to do to get it. Being naïve and innocent, and not knowing she was in the presence of a predator, she asked him what she needed to do.
He, of course, forced himself upon her and took her virginity, then told her that she could have the role she wanted. She felt gross after having her body used by that monster, but she was a nobody and he was a huge and powerful director, so what could she hope to accomplish by turning him in?
Feeling that she had no choice, she cried herself to sleep and forced a smile onto her face the next day when she went to attend the actual filming, and she gave it her best effort for the sake of following her dream, even if it meant she had to work for that man who she hated and that stole away her innocence.
After that, she took a few years before she started dating for the first time. He was another child star, and while she had started developing feelings for him, she was in no state to even consider having sex, and she told him as much numerous time, but he kept trying to pressure her.
Deep down, even though she wanted to be strong herself, on some level, she wanted a protector as well, and thus in her head she convinced herself that she could put up with his pestering
They were together until her 17th birthday. Diantha was finally legally an adult and they each went to a bar to buy her a drink. It was said by her boyfriend to be a coming-of-age thing. They were only going to get one drink each, but shortly after she drank hers, she blacked out and when she woke up she was in an unfamiliar bed, naked, with that piece of shit she had called her boyfriend using her body.
She had been unconscious, so obviously she couldn't consent. Seeing her awake, he had grabbed her hips and suddenly sped up and ignored her orders to get off of her. He had merely insisted it was 'too late' and he was 'almost there'.
After finishing inside of her, he started acting like he hadn't just used her against her will and started talking about how 'great' the previous night was, and about how they both drank too much and that she apparently suggested going to his place and then seduced him.
She had some fame by then, but he was still a bigger celebrity then her at that time. She could read between the lines. If she told anyone about what he had done, he would tell that story, and would probably claim she just had regrets after they both sobered up.
She told him that she hated him and started leaving, and he said words that haunted her ever since then "Well, you weren't even a virgin, so I am not losing anything valuable. Just some dirty slut that can be easily replaced." they had dated for over two years and because he had ruthlesssly used her, it seemed he had no more need for her and could let her go like she was nothing.
After recalling her past, Diantha wondered how had she had so easily decided that she could willingly give herself to Death. All she knew was that for some reason, when she was with him, she didn't feel so filthy anymore, and she wanted more of that.
She had lunch with his wives and children, then returned to Kalos where she invited him into her room to talk. She decided to trust him and share her past with him, believing that she would still be accepted and loved even when he knew the truth about her.
------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------
ooc - Before I get nagged about giving Diantha such a traumatic backstory, I'll clarify the reason. The point I am going for is that this world is not some kids show where the only bad guys are the seasons current evil team. There are plenty of terrible people in the world whi are just selfish and aren't trying to take over or destroy the world. Since I wanted to stress this point, I have to reveal that some characters did not have blessed childhoods. In Diantha's case, she rose to where she now is by working her ass off, in spite of the overwhelming stumbling blocks that could have easily knocked her down. The point you should take home is that she persevered through it all. Yes, she hid her true feelings a lot and hadn't overcome her distrust of men, even though she hid it well, but she never stopped moving forward. Plus, 'the casting couch' is something that actually used to be a thing or so I've always heard, even if I have no specific examples. There is that Weinstein guy as I recall, but I don't want top look up precise details about the things he did, or was alleged to have done. I'm not calling anyone liars, mind you, I think most of the allegations against him are probably true, but just can't rule out that there might also be some false accusers amidst the real ones. Looking up the true details is too depressing, so I prefer to remain ignorant and not look too deep, but this choice to not look too deep just means I can't emphatically say whether or not every allegation is real.
Anyway, I got a bit off topic. The point of this chapter is that this world has more dark aspects to it then some cartoon could reveal. It's more like the real world then the show depicted. Diantha is one such person with a couple hidden traumas from her past, and the fact that she can so effortlessly trust Death (largely do to his personality with an assist from his tiny spark of divinity) is why she is so eager to enter a physical relationship with him. It is not that she would so quickly sleep with just anyone, but when it comes down to it, she felt like she wasn't a proper woman because she couldn't have sex previously. She just wants to feel like any other woman.
Next world poll is up in the comments section of chapter 59. Next chapter will be Sunday
Next chapter will conclude this vacation arc and then we'll get back to Kanto
