------------------------------

The whole thing did not take more than four hours before Griffen's Roost was under Edward's fall control. Edward had changed the game of sieges by breaking the record of taking this fortified castle(This is just a joke. I don't want anyone to shout and say something like Aegon Targaryen fucken destroyed some castle with his dragon.).

The next day, the Eastermont's men finally reached Griffen's Roost with his uncle's lead. They were all surprised when they saw that the castle had already fallen under Edward's control even before they arrived. Edward's uncles were looking at him with fear in their eyes. They blamed themselves for not taking Heldon's place in coming to Storm's End with Cassana. They could form a more close relationship with their nephew by this time.

Edward decided to let his men rest for a day before marching to Helltown with his men. He decided to organize the situation in the castle before leaving. First, Edward decided to send the captured Conningtons back to Storm's End to greet the dungeons. He wanted to keep his war trophies till they could be used against Jon.

Edward also decided to use the Conningtons men that had surrendered. Of course, he would not trust them. Edward planned to use them as cannon fodder as the vanguard during the upcoming battles. If they refused or disobeyed the orders, he planned to kill them immediately.

Before leaving Griffen's Roost the following day, Edward decided to let one of his uncles and another five hundred soldiers from the Eastermont's men stay in Griffen's Roost to protect the city. The Eastermonts brought about one thousand and seven hundred men with them, so Edward saw it was fine to leave this number to protect the castle. He had already gained four thousand men from the Conningrons.

Edward and his new fifteen thousand men marched in Helltown direction. Edward would meet the rest of the three groups there. He hoped they would be able to take the castles with ease.

The castles did not have many men inside, hundred at most since the lords took every man with them when they decided to gather in Summerhall before attacking Edward.

Edward was sure his men and Stannis would manage the situation and succeed in their mission.

Edward was able to reach Helltown by the sunset. He did not hurry over here and decided to take his time so the others could be done with their missions by the time he arrived.

And it was as Edward had predicted, when he arrived at Heltown, he saw the three groups there. Except for Stannis's group, the others looked fine and did not have many casualties.

Stannis's luck with bad. The paranoid lord Fell left around three hundred men to defend Felwood. Although they were not a lot, they still caused about two hundred deaths and more casualties in Stannis's group. Stannis was only able to take the town fast because Felwood was not fortified well enough. The walls were not that high, and the gates could not hold the attack. The other reason was the Shadow legion's agents, who helped Stannis behind the scenes by opening the gate and killing some archers.

It was fine till this moment since the casualties were in the allowed range. The next battle was the most important at the moment. Edward had about forty-five thousand men in Helltown. They waited for the three lords' pitiful army to come more close. Not to mention their pitiful six thousand men army, they would not survive under Edward's schemes.

When Edward got the news about their exact location, he decided to march to them instead of waiting. He had all the advantage at the moment, and there was no reason to stay on the defensive side.

Before long, in the following day, Edward's army met the three lord's army on the mountain road to Summerhall. Yeah, it turned out to be a bad location for an open battle, but he spread the archers and crossbow units on the cliff, although he doubted he would need to act.

The three lords were afraid when they saw the sight of Edward's army. They did not get the right intelligence as Edward would always kill their scouts and spies. But when they examined the terrain, they thought it would be to their advantage and that they had a chance to win. Plus, the rewards Owen Merryweather, the hand of the king at the moment, promised them were enough to turn them greedy.

"We are here, by the King's order to get the crown's traitors' heads. If anyone interferes, he will be the enemy of the crown." Said Lord Fell with a smug on his face while his son and the other two lords laughed by his side.

They were full of themselves at the moment. Edward wanted to see their expression at the end of this. Edward was going to enjoy torturing this bunch. Everyone looked at them as if they were fools. Not only this bunch of idiots did not retreat as they did not have any information about Edward, they still acted like idiots. They did not even get the news that their castles had already fallen in Edward's hand.

"As all of you can see, my lords. Those three not only did not repent their action but instead acted like that. I have the right to punish them hard enough so the other could take it as an example in the future." Said Edward, taking this chance to threaten the rest and find an excuse for what he was going to do.

Edward raised his hand, and the soldiers began taking the prisoners out one after the other. The three lords were shocked by the scene, not to mention their armies.

"I knew all of you were forced to do such a thing by those cunts. If you want to repent now, it is your chance. Throw your swords and shields, and I would spare your families and children. Defy me, and you would all die with your families." Said Edward as he used the chance to lure the men into surrendering. He would use the soldiers as cannon fodders, but he did not need their lords.

The weak-willed soldiers throw their swords one after the other, and before the three lords could snap out of it, nearly half of their men had already surrendered to the other side.

The others were more loyal to the three. Plus, Edward's men could possibly find every man's family. They were not superhumans, but they could pull at least eight thousand Smallfolk with them that seemed to be the soldier's family.

Enjoy.
