SORROWS OF THE HEART

Earth wanted to run to her Moon but Moon's closed eyes still made it difficult to make Earth move even an inch!

Why?

You are not moving Earth?

Maybe he is just babbling in his sleep!

Earth answered!

She feared for the worse. What if it is just her wishful thinking?

Earth's best friend looked at her state but she can't remain in a daze like her best friend. She heard the voice of something that dropped on the floor!

Then saw the coffee cup sleeping peacefully on the floor,

"Oh... Doctor Cao... Please come in..."

Lu Yanli said while she was still in Xian's embrace without realizing it!

Her hands were still circling his shoulders and both of them looked exactly opposite to each other!

Why did she look at Dr Cao like he just found her doing what she was not supposed to do?

{Flashback of sometime back️ in the hospital}

"Oh, why is this coffee machine not working?? I need coffee! Oh god, I can't live without coffee! uhh!!! You stupid idiot machine you just wait, let my Xian Xian get conscious!!! I will tell him to throw you out!!! Now work or be ready to get thrown out!!!"

"Hmmm...Well, I think she is scared enough now! Let me check whether she is still alive! If she is, you will get coffee."

Lu Yanli turned around as she heard a voice from her behind,

"WHAT? What did you say and by the way, who the hell are you?"

Lu Yanli asked in a somewhat frustrated tone. she was on the verge of sleeping when she was supposed to take care of her best friend, so she came to get coffee for herself but it turned out, that the coffee machine wasn't working properly and she didn't want to go to the canteen just to get the cup of coffee.

"Hi, I am Dr Cao! Let me get you coffee. You know that this machine doesn't work when she finds someone so beautiful in front of her."

Dr Cao said as he moved a little bit forward closer to the machine and Lu Yanli moved away as soon as he moved near her.



"Are you flirting with me, Dr Cao?? But are you a doctor?? You look like a model or something and which doctor comes to the hospital in party wear??"

A smile appeared on Dr Cao's face as he heard her calling him a model or something. His thoughts wandered around her innocent words,

"Are you a real girl? Do you even know what you just said?? You are accusing me of flirting with you and you praising me, so Miss Beautiful is Miss Innocent. I like you to miss Innocent. I want to know you some more."

She was still looking at him questioningly but his smile didn't fade away. He took out his hospital ID from the pocket and showed it to her.

"I know I am handsome! I should go for modelling but I love to read people and modelling can never give me that thing."

"Oh, I am sorry Dr Cao. I thought it's midnight and you came to just flirt with me because no one is here but hi! I am Lu Yanli."

"So Miss Lu Yanli, You are here with someone?"

"Yes, my best friend and his best friend are admitted to your hospital. I am staying tonight with them here. I was feeling sleepy, so I came here for the coffee but I think tonight I am not lucky to have it. Okay, Dr Cao, I take your leave. Bye!!!"

She turned to leave him alone in a lonely passage but soon got blocked by a sweet sound which she liked.

"Hey, Miss Lu Yanli! May I know you are in?"

"I am in room number 540."

{End of flashback}

"Xian Xian, I will come back soon. Please take care of Jun and don't forget about yourself in that process, Okay! It's a little urgent! I don't know why but I am feeling like I need to go now. Bye!"

The words Lu Yanli spoke to her best friend fell on deaf ears. They were not in their senses for a long time. Since they heard the much-awaited words from the voice that belonged to them to hear.

Earth was left alone in her solitude again when Lu Yanli removed her hands from her shoulder and went out behind Dr Cao to ask him why he came by?

"Xian, Song Jun, is calling you saying those words which you have been waiting to hear for a long time. Just move and go to him right now..."

Earth moved slowly near her Moon and sat just like before to listen to his babble one more time but this time it was much clearer than before!

The words were coming from the Moon but not of this Moon! They were coming from the Moon ten years back who got scolded, beaten, punished for the mistake he made because that time his Earth didn't hide him under her shadow.

"Xian ge, don't leave me alone..."

Earth was looking at this Moon who was looking like a jade statue but the babble was coming from that ten-year-old injured soul, who was left alone by his love, his solace, his Earth who was supposed to take him in his shadow to hide him, to not to get punished for loving his Earth!

{Small memory of past events when they got separated.}

"Xian ge I will not do it again I promised him but he still punished me. Baba said if I meet you again, he will keep me hungry till I don't accept what he asks me.

Xian ge I don't want to eat anything. Don't bring any food for me again. If keeping me hungry makes him understand what I want then I don't want to eat ever again!"

Then Tang Xian saw his little version in front of him who was trying to make Song Jun eat something, but he was always this adamant. He never listened to Tang Xian, when he decided to do something!

"But Judi, you haven't eaten anything for two days now! Please don't do that. Please eat something before he comes. Have it!"

"Xian ge, I told you I will not eat anything. I don't want to eat anything. Baba will surely take me away from you if I eat!"

"No Judi, I will speak to him. Do you believe me??"

"Yes! Xian ge, I believe you but I don't believe him. Xian ge, I am telling you don't trust them. Listen to me. We should just run away from them!

A shiver ran through Tang Xian's spine when he heard Song Jun talking about eloping at this small age when he didn't even know why he wanted to run away or he was the only one who knew everything that was happening around him.

"So now you are teaching my Song Jun to run away???"

An angry roar came unexpectedly and made Earth hide her Moon behind her but a mere teenager was just a piece of paper for his shush.

Song Ziteng held the hand of Tang Xian and shoved him in the corner! A slap placed on Song Jun on the already tumescent left cheek which hurt Tang Xian more!

"Shushu, it's not Judi's fault! Please don't hit him. It was all my fault! Hit me if you want to..."

Tang Xian again came to hide Song Jun under shadow but he was stubborn to the core, he didn't let Tang Xian get beaten. He pushed his gege aside and peered up to see into the eyes of angry baba,

"It is not his fault at all baba! It was me who did that in school. If you feel better after hitting me then hit me but don't touch my gege!"

Anger turned into rage within seconds and lava erupted on Song Jun to burn him into ashes! Beaten severely, Song Jun was losing his consciousness. The pain got unbearable and soon he left his shielding gege on his own. Song Jun's eyes got closed looking at his gege who was trying to take every hit but was ruthlessly shoved by an anger-filled person!

"Xian ge, I told you not to trust them but you didn't listen. Xian ge, please don't leave me alone. Please gege, don't leave me alone!"

Where the last words came out of the mouth of his little Judi. He didn't leave him alone that night but the pain which took Judi into unconsciousness took Tang Xian also with her.

While shielding his beloved Judi, Tang Xian also got the exact pain crawling under his bone. He also got enormous hits but one fatal blow on his head took him hard to the land of dreams where he saw Song Jun laughing and enjoying!

"I didn't leave you alone that night Judi, but I don't know how I reached home. Judi, I was with you that day. I tried hard to be with you that night but I failed. I failed. Will you forgive your Xian ge! Judi...?"

He was trying to get the answer from his sleeping beauty but a sudden shiver of Song Jun made his move towards him. He looked at the worried face of Song Jun and immediately closed the door of the hospital room.

He then slowly slipped in Song Jun's comforter, to give him his much-needed warmth.

Yes! Earth once again took her Moon into her embrace without caring what will happen next because she was so determined to give her everything to Moon.

EVERYTHING SHE HAD. HER SOUL, HER MIND, HER HEART, HER BODY, EVEN HER LIFE!!!
