Chapter 310

The car stopped and Pearl looked around. They were in the middle of nowhere. A small, stone house sat back behind some trees.

Sebastian took her hand and nodded. She walked with him to the door and inside, at a large table, sat Jim and four other men she didn't recognize and... Fi.

"Fi!" Pearl said as she ran to her. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Sebastian brought me up to speed. Well, sort of. I'm not sure what my role is here, but I am willing to help however I can." She said. "Fuck him. Seriously. Do it feel bad about any of this. He lied to us. He lied to us all. And you're safe now, with Sebastian." She said.

"Christian is his child." She said.

"He told me. And I've never heard happier news." Fi said. "But I don't think genetics mattered really. He has loved that boy since the moment he was born."

Sebastian motioned them back to the table. He made introductions. "Everyone knows who Pearl is, and myself. Jim is Pearl's body guard. He is ex-CIA and secret service." Sebastian explained. "Next to him is who we will call 'M'. He is also ex-CIA and had the highest intel clearance in the United States for an agent for over 25 years. Next to him is Blake. He is an American and a high ranking agent in the FBI special crimes unit. He is ex military. Next to him, we will call 'Q'. He is ex-KGB, GCHQ and a highly trained and respected marksman. And this, next to me, is Rowan. A local police officer for the Poileas Alba, and a well respected member of the local government. He is also Anna's uncle. And this, this is Fiona. She is an Oscar winning actress and Pearl's closest friend."

They all looked around at each other. What a mix of people to be in a room together.

"I want to thank you all for coming on such short notice." Sebastian began. "And I know you all are aware of the risk. But I need your help. And if you are willing, this is going to not only make history, but hopefully change the future."

He sat down and explained what had happened up to this point. Erik's covering up the women he attacked. The lineage. Erik's real father and his murder. Anna. Auggie. All of it. "I believe Frances purposely had an affair with the intention of it only producing offspring for Edward but to kill the man and take his inheritance. It added billions to the crown's wealth."

"My god." Rowan said, covering his mouth.

"And I'm certain there will be more uncovered if we dig. The corruption is deep." Sebastian said.

"How are we going to do this?" Rowan asked. "You are suggesting that we, this little team of eight people, are equipped to take down the most corrupt monarchy in centuries? The most powerful leaders in the world?" He looked pale. "I want to avenge Anna more than anything but this is, this is a bit of madness, don't you think? We are already committing treason just meeting here."

"This isn't just about avenging a girl, and forgive me, but an impulsive and stupid one at that." Q said. "Sorry Sebastian, but it's true. This is about how the country of Great Britain is being run. We all pledged a duty to this country. Well, most of us." He looked at the Americans. "And we all know that when there is corruption exposed, it unusually runs much deeper than the surface." He said.

"Rowan. This plan that I have can only be legally accepted if you are involved. It has to look like it's a real sting in the end. I want it to be admissible in court. And only you can tell me if it would be. And if it is, you will get the credit for taking down the current crown of England."

"A coup d'etat." Q said. "The biggest one in modern history."

Jim and M looked at Bash. "Ok." Jim said. "Let's hear the plan."

"It came to me the other night. Erik has been visiting prostitutes as of late. At brothels, sex clubs and hotels. What he does to them isn't pretty. It's brutal." He began. "What if it went too far again? Way too far. What if someone... died again on his watch?"

Pearl gasped.

"Bash, you're not suggesting... " Rowan said.

"No. That's where Fi comes in." He looked at her. "I need an actress. A good one. Someone you trust. And she has to be willing to go pretty far for this. She has to act like he killed her. Or at least rendered her unconscious. It has to be believable. I know it's asking a lot and putting her in danger but I assure you, she won't be harmed." Sebastian said. "And we will need two more actors. Maybe three. Men that can play cops. We are going to make him think he killed someone again in a sex act. We are going to bring him in for questioning about a dead prostitute and take him to fake warehouse and put the fear of god into him. Force a confession. Record it all. Have him write it down. Sign it. Is this something that will hold in parliament?" Sebastian asked Rowan and Q.

"It might. It might not. But if we release it to the public, it will hold there. And that's where the real take down occurs. That's when the investigation will begin into them. The public will demand it." Q said. Rowan agreed.

"This is extremely risky. What if he doesn't break? What if he doesn't sing at all and we have nothing." Jim asked.

"That's where Pearl comes in." He said. "She will be the back up to work to try to convince him to confess."

"And if that doesn't work?" M asked.

"Then we have Auggie. He knows everything, doesn't he?" Blake asked. "That's why I took him into hiding, isn't it?"

"Yes. I believe so. And I know him. He is a good person. He will go to the public with everything he knows. It is the worst case scenario but it's a solid back up plan." Sebastian said.

"Fi, we need actors and a solid interrogation room set. Props. The whole thing. We need people you can trust. Really trust. I will type up a confidentiality agreement once you decide who it will be." He said.

Fi looked at Pearl. "Alright. I'll do it. How much time do I have to put this together?" She asked.

"A week, tops." Sebastian said.

Fi took a deep breath. "I did a movie a few years back about a woman that was murdered at a strip club. I played the detective that caught the guy. We consulted some S&M professionals. I might be able to actually find someone that does this for a living to help." Fi said.

"As long as we can trust her. We need to all stay incognito on all of this. I will reach out to you all in a few days." Sebastian said. He looked at all of them.

"Is everyone in?" He asked.

They all looked at each other. "Yes." Jim said.

"Alright. Let's begin, then." Sebastian said.
