Lee Rang's past life...(5)

He was feeling an profuse pain in his whole body. It was like torment to him. Lee Rang stared at the obelisk in front of him, that was not just one but two.

He looked so pale and weak as he was sleepless since Yuri died. He was mourning over the death of his wife. Her death was haunting him. While he wasn't fully recovered from her death, the news of his right hand and his best friend, cousin Chen Sheng, being killed reached his ears.

Chen was killed Right after two months of Yuri. Chen left the house when Yuri died because Lee Rang found out he that Chen had feelings for Yuri and he tortured his brother like friend to death and later he found an unknown women from the business world probably one of Lee Rang's enemies killed Chen. Lee Rang tried finding that women but was not able to find her.

Aside from that, Lee Rang's two months old son got ill severely because he didn't receive his mother's warmness and lack of care as babysitters weren't able to provide him with the love and warmth of a mother. Grandpa Lee tried taking care of him but he wasn't able to as an old man. Soo Hyun took the kid and tried to take care of him.

The sky was dark and the cold wind was flowing. Lee Rang was standing in front of the gravestone, holding his little son in his arms.

Was it wrong to love her? What did he do wrong? He just wanted to love her. He just wanted to mark her his own. He wanted her badly.. but how did it end up like this?

He couldn't help but think that his best friend who was more than a brother to him, his death was Rang's punishment. Because of him, his company got bankrupt because Rang stopped visiting the company. His grandfather got sick and his brother, Lee Sang, was attacked several times but was saved. Shin Wu the most loyal friend disappeared somewhere and didn't come back.

While Lee Rang was thinking all this, he didn't notice that someone from behind was approaching him slowly.

With one swift move, Lee Rang was stabbed in back first. Someone took the crying child from his hand.

Lee Rang was surprised by the pain and he ended coughing blood out of his mouth as he was hit in the back side area up near his heart's rib's that were covering it.

The man took the knife out of his back before he kicked him.

Lee Rang fell on the ground on the top of Yuri's grave. When Lee Rang lifted his head to look at the man who stabbed him, his eyes went wide open with shock. His best friend stabbed him.

''Kim Suho''.

Kim Suho's eyes were full of rage. In a blink of an eye, he was already on the top of Lee Rang. This time he stabbed Rang in the chest and shouted,'' You bastard, you killed my sister. I trusted you as a brother. You .. you promised me that you will keep her safe and happy but you killed her. She died because of you''.

Tears were falling down Kim Suho's eyes. He didn't stop but kept stabbing Lee Rang in the chest again and again. '' MY SISTER NEVER DESERVED THIS. SHE WAS A PURE SOUL. BUT YOU DESTROYED US..'' Kim Suho let out all the grieve.

Lee Rang was coughing blood out, his vision was becoming blurry, before he lost his consciousness he said something that made Kim Suho froze at his place.

Lee Rang hardly said this,'' I destroyed your family right, but your father united with those bastards who killed my parents''.

Kim Suho laughed wickedly and said,'' What, my father, never he would do such a thing''.

Lee Rang let out a mocking chuckle and said,'' Your father was greedy. Money made him blind but now go and save your father first''.

'' Suho''. A faint voice of women was heard.

Lee Rang tried to catch a little glimpse of her, who was holding his son. He thought that was she the girl who killed Chen?

Lee Rang's body became weak and cold. He didn't have the strength to fight back or take revenge for his friend's murder. He couldn't even feel any pain in his chest or his back anymore.

Lee Rang suddenly realized where he has been wrong all this time.

He forcefully married Yuri, even when she had someone else in her heart. He forced her into the things she didn't want. He destroyed her family, which she loved. He made such a huge sin, that her death and Chen's death was a punishment to him.

Lee Rang was never afraid of dying that made him a heartless and ruthless man in this lifetime. Being a mafia he killed so many people, he had money and he could buy the lives of other's with it. 

Because he became so powerful, he was a man full of pride. He wouldn't even apologize for his mistakes. He was the one who ruined their relationship. If he had been a little patient and controlled his anger towards her and treated her in a better way may be she would have loved and respected him.

He was a cold person, who only forced her against her will. He even didn't pay any attention to his younger brother, who never once received praise from him. He never showed a little affection towards his only son.

He was a failure as a father, failure as a brother and failure as a husband. He was just a failure and a monster.

It was all too late now. All his thoughts vanished as the life in his eyes disappeared and he lay near the graves waiting for himself to be placed under the grave.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a familiar room.

He looked at his hands and touched his heart and chest... He was alive?

He went out of the bed and walked towards the mirror that was hanging on the wall. He saw his reflection, same cold and aloof.

He died .. he was killed by Kim Suho.

He looked at the calendar. It was the same day and date when he was killed.

He snapped out of the thoughts when his friend Chen called him.

'' Rang. if you a wish to live longer then contact grandpa back as soon as possible''. Chen didn't let him speak first.
