Part 16 – In the Front Line

Prologue

Juny woke up and stared at the sunlight which was seeping in through the pores on the ceiling. He was late. He usually woke before the sun rise in the horizon. Juny slowly got outside his room and walked towards the living room.

On the way people waved and greeted him. Juny waved back and continued his walk. He was the watcher and he usually starts his job early in the morning. The building near the bunker was his watch tower.

At the time he reached the living room, everyone was doing their assigned works. All the people usually woke up early in the morning. Everyone was afraid that if they sleep too much they would never know if a demon entered inside the bunker.

The table in the kitchen area was filled with glasses which were filled with coffee. In this bunker, kitchen and other important parts of the bunker were inside the living room. Juny took a glass of coffee from the table and he slowly sipped.

“Yummy.”
