Chisato's Observations

Bracing against the wall, I allowed the warm water of the shower to fall against my back. It was a rhythmic, soothing feeling as the tiny droplets struck my skin. Feeling my muscles relax, I let my head roll back and released a deep sigh.

Arms wrapped around my waist, two lumps of flesh pressing against my back as a chin rested upon my shoulders. "Mind telling me why you dropped in so late?" Megumi asked, lips pressing against my neck and trailing up to my cheek, I turned around, both hands going to her waist as I kissed her deeply. Her hands trailed up and buried into my hair as she brought me in closer. "Not that I'm complaining, it was a nice surprise."

I had honestly thought I would die, in fact, I thought I had.

Ingrid had swung her blade down, her eyes impassionate and her face stonecold. It was a look I had seen before when someone had killed before and had no hesitation in doing it again. That was a killing strike, basic but with perfect form. A straight downward swipe and with my exhausted muscles and internal damage, impossible to dodge.

I had felt the blade cutting through skin, breaking bones and splitting from my shoulder all the way to my hip. I had looked down, seen the handle of her blade down at my groin, blood seeping out with the blade stuck into my muscles that split downwards.

The pain had been there, the numbness that quickly followed. The fear of death, of feeling your life drain from your body and desperately wishing for more time. All of that had come to me as I thought I had been about to die.

Except, that was not the case.

It was an illusion.

I knew of them, anyone who watched anime or read manga knew of illusions and honestly, I had gained a very new appreciation for them. Just that single instance had made me feel like I was dead, I had felt every inch of my flesh being torn, all my bones that were in the way of the blade being cut in half. All of those feelings still existed within me even now, as I pushed Megumi up against the wall, the cold tiles making her gasp out, one leg going to wrap around my waist.

It had been an illusion, the blade had stopped above my shoulder, Ingrid simply making me believe that I had been cut in half. She let me feel death, let me experience it. Then after cutting open her palm and letting blood pour into my mouth, a quick chant afterwards and I felt warmth erupt from within me.

She had not explained why, only getting up and walking away, leaving me in that clearing, kneeling upon the floor and trying to come to terms with what had happened. But she didn't need to, somehow she had healed me, or partially healed me.

As soon as I had mustered the strength of mind to move, I did and the first thing I did, was going to Megumi. Spurred upon by the innate human nature of survival, I recognised and still felt that threat upon my life and did what my instincts demanded, reproduce. So, I had gone to Megumi and that was what had led me to this moment.

Already we had spent a good hour or so in her bed, but by that point, I had regained some of my senses and I needed a moment to myself. "Can't I just pop by?" I asked, groaning out as I felt Megumi begin to pump my shaft.

"You can, it's just not like you to take the initiative," Megumi murmured. "Usually I message you, not the other way around." There was a teasing note to her tone, a knowingness that said she knew I liked being in charge and seeing her effectively come crawling back to me. She liked that little game, seeing which of them would break and in her eyes, it appeared I had lost and in a way, I had.

But she usually broke simply because she couldn't ignore her desire for sex, Megumi did well for being a nymphomaniac like she was. I, however, had broken because of the threat to my life, that unseen axe that hung over me. Even though I knew it wasn't there, that feeling of it hovering above me, that feeling of seeing Ingrid swing her blade down, it still clung to me.

She thought I broke first, I'd have to remind her of her place.

I pulled away, one hand grabbing a fistful of her hair. "On your knees." Megumi did try to resist a little, but she was unable to put up much against my strength and by the smile on her face, she wasn't bothered by that at all.

Instead, knowing exactly what I wanted, she opened her mouth wide as I directed my cock into her mouth and with a thrust of my hip, pushed it all the way down her eagerly awaiting throat. Both hands went to her hair then, grabbing handholds as I began to thrust away into her mouth, the shower covering up the sounds of my balls slapping against her chin and the gagging noises she made.

Megumi though was not idle, eyes locking onto my own, tongue licking and tracing along the edge of my hardness as her hands went to work. One hand groping and playing with her breasts, the other going between her legs. The moans she made from her self-pleasure sent a pleasurable variation down my cock.

Bowing lowly, Chisato rose her head as she looked upon the glowing ball before her. "Why have you called for us, Chisato?" The voice questioned from the other end.

"The Fallen have made their move," Chisato said, feeling a shift come over the room, a subtle showcase of the power possessed by those who she served. They weren't even present in the room, not even near Kuoh, yet their power could shift the atmosphere of the room. "Issei Hyoudou will be dead by the end of tomorrow." It was already in the early hours of Friday, by Saturday the Fallen will have completed their task and moved on.

"And the Devils?"

Chisato shook her head. "Unaware at this time, but I have taken steps to ensure that Rias Gremory will be there upon his death to ensure his revival as a Devil." Tricking one of Rias' familiars into handing over the slips of paper possessing the sigil of House Gremory to her was a simple task. She would make sure to hand one over to Issei on the day he would die, ensuring his survival and revival as a Devil.

"Everything is going according to plan." The voice was pleased, Chisato feeling a weight momentarily lift off her shoulders. "The Heavenly Dragons must be kept separate for as long as possible. Should their battle come about too soon, then our Harvest will be lacklustre We gave you this assignment because you have proved your worth in the past, Chisato. You are aware of what would happen should you fail?"

"I am." Chisato nodded her head. "Which is why I asked for this meeting. There is something of interest happening with Mikoto Hyoudou."

Again another shift and once more, Chisato felt that weight return to her shoulders. "Explain."

"When he arrived at Kuoh, he was human. A human with an interesting past as I have come to discover. He has been a part of many Gu Rituals, fought within underground tournaments like the Kengan Association which I am aware, we have a few assets within." Chisato explained. "However, little more than a week ago, Mikoto was sensed possessing magic where previously, he had none. Since then, his magical capabilities can be described as nothing short of prodigious, inhumane almost."

"What are you hinting at?"

Chisato smiled. "No more than a few hours ago, Mikoto and the Vampire, Ingrid were engaged in a fight. One that so Mikoto lose and Ingrid almost kill him. For reasons, I am currently unaware of, but looking into, she healed him. He's currently unaware of this, as will everyone else no doubt, but he is no longer entirely human. A rough estimate, he is ninety-five percent human, five percent Dragon."

"Dragon?"

"I had to make sure myself, but it is the truth," Chisato stated.

She had struggled to believe it herself, but the results were always the same. In a way, it also made sense. Sacred Gears were humanities way to equal the playing field against the supernatural forces, but they were unpredictable. No one could accurately know where they would appear or what they would be until the wielder manifested them.

Twins were even rarer and usually appeared in one of two ways. First, neither would be born with a Sacred Gear or two, they would both be born with one. If the latter was the case, then the Sacred Gears would either be directly opposed to one another, or Sacred Gears that could enhance the other. Usually an indication of the relationship between the twins as well. However, never before had there been a record of twins being born, where only one was born with a Sacred Gear and the other without.

Nor had there been any record of one twin being born with a Longinus Dragon Sacred Gear. It seemed that despite not being born with a Sacred Gear, Mikoto had not gone completely unchanged.

"His exposure to Ddraig in the womb..." Chisato need not say anything more than that, the voice on the other end already capable of putting the pieces of the puzzle together. "And with his talents, he has potential, a great deal of potential."

"...He may also be uniquely suited to hunting down the Heavenly Dragon Wielders as well." That caught Chisato off-guard, not quite sure where that idea had come from.

Certainly, Mikoto had talent, but enough to make him a threat to the Heavenly Dragon Wielders? Chisato hardly thought so. Even then, the idea that he might be uniquely suited due to the circumstances of his birth was also highly unlikely, they didn't even know the full extent of his changes just yet.

But also not impossible.

"Chisato, you say that preparations have been made to connect Ddraig's wielder with Rias Gremory?" Chisato nodded her head, the reason she had been sent here was purely to make sure that Issei Hyoudou would be connected and under the protection of Sirzech Lucifer. Only under his protection could they ensure that Issei would be allowed to properly grow to face the wielder of Albion. "Good, then turn your attention fully to Mikoto Hyoudou, grow closer to him if you must."

"May I ask why?" Chisato questioned unsurely.

It was a mission she wasn't unwilling to do, if need be she would have done the same to Issei. Mikoto may hide it better than his brother, but he was just as perverted and so it wouldn't be too difficult to get closer to him.

"To see whether he is a worthy Slayer candidate." As soon as those words were uttered, Chisato felt a cold chill crawl up her spine. Muscles tensing as her heart pounding rapidly. There were few things she feared in the world, she had lived long enough and seen a great deal. But the Slayers, they terrified her beyond measure.

After all, Slayers were those that were dispatched to kill the Heavenly Sacred Gear wielders should the balance of power be too one-sided.
