XXXIX. The "good" news

Nä-ræl had been visiting Rapha every evening and the two enjoyed each other's company greatly. Before, everytime they bade each other good-bye, they exchanged hugs, some short, some long leaving Nä-ræl with different fantasies of her own. Rapha too had his own share of fantasies.

Soon enough, Nä-ræl became bold and kissed him on the cheek making his cheeks turn scarlet. They became quite close that a day apart from each other seemed like a thousand years. Their love for each other grew strongly and one could tell Cupid was at work, the only thing was that they were too shy to confess to each other.

Nä-ræl had also been going out with Ærtle but it did not bother her as ignoring him had become quite easy for her. She just hated the fact that he disturbed her peace, making it hard for her to focus her thoughts on the moments she spent with Rapha.
