Solace

"Almost half a year later, the problem started when Mathias started to fall for the guy I am sleeping with. But he kept everything in his heart and suffered. It took me a while to realise what was happening to my friend. When I asked, he denied it. I tried to cut things off with Henry, but Mathias did not want me to. He said he was fine and could accept what was between Henry and Me. Mathias was willing to do anything as long as he could see Henry happy, even if Henry wants to be with me."

"Till date, Henry had no clue that Mathias loves him more than anything in his life. When I was planning to spend the vacation in South Korea, Henry became quite sad. I realised later that Henry fell in love with me. I know that I would never return his feelings. I know Henry for almost a year, and I never felt love or anything for him. I never even liked him more than a friend."

"So when I noticed he loves me, I planned to break things of subtly. But before I could do anything, he took Mathias help to planned a small party and asked me to be his boyfriend. I rejected it breaking Henry's heart. Mathias got angry with me for hurting the love of his life. Both Henry and Mathias were not willing to listen to my point. It was all messy, and I had to leave for South Korea. Now Henry got shit drunk, and I asked Mathias to take care of him." Min Jun reached for a glass of water only to gulp it down right after finishing the story.

He was tired. Not from narrating everything that happened for more than a year in a few minutes but from thinking about the mess he got himself into.

Young Jae didn't expect the turn of event. The short brief baffled him. He just leaned against the bed without moving. He didn't know what to say.

Min Jun was staring at him, expecting a word or comment about how unruly his lifestyle was or something similar to yesterday. But there was only silence as a response to his story.

He stared at Young Jae and slowly Min Jun drew in towards the Young Jae like a moth towards the fire. 

The view in front of him might be ordinary for others. But from his point of view, it was breathtaking.

A sick beauty leaned against the headboard, surrounded by fluffy pillows, tugged his heart.

The dom in him was going crazy with a need to turn the pale skin to glowing smooth skin so that he can let his hand wander over and over again to find treasure.

The need to see the shallow cheeks filled with meat so that it could fill his hand while holding the other's cheeks.

The pink honeyed lips were teasing his sanity and tempting to commit sins in more than one ways.

Small button nose urging him to bump his nose against Young Jae.

The soft, lush black hair made him play with it as he coaxes the other to sleep in his arm.

The only deficit in the perfect painting was the eyes. Min Jun wanted to look at the eyes of the older man. He craved to knew how the other one's eye looked like behind the bandage.

'Don't be selfish, Min Jun. Young Jae Hyung was injured, and his eyes were operated. You will see those gorgeous eyes one day. If You are lucky enough, you will drown in those gorgeous eyes till eternity.' Min Jun tried to talk himself out of greed.

'Was I a greedy monkey in my previous life? Had nothing to do but covet beauty. How could my mind wander from something serious to the path of gutter? How could my attention jump from a problem to the living temptation in front of me??? He is just so gorgeous that I want to bully him in all the good ways. Did I just do it again? Get a grip Min Jun. You were raised better than this. Stop fantasising about a man who has no clue about you…' Min Jun was frustrated at himself by the end as he was failing.

Min Jun was not at fault when the silent and calm Young Jae was a painting that powered up his dirty mind. But time and bitter experience change one into someone they were not. When Min Jun realise it in the future, Young Jae was long gone on the road of cynicism.

To stop the brain from rushing into gutter headfirst once again, Min Jun decided to talk.

"Did you fall asleep listening to my boring story, Hyung?"

Young Jae was embarrassed by the question and shuttered. "Nope. I was just thinking." 

It was true. Young Jae was lost in thoughts and did not even notice that he forgot to respond.

"I wouldn't have said anything even if you fell asleep. It was sort of horribly repeated love triangle. Two friends- one was falling for someone and that someone was falling for another friend creating chaos and trouble."

"But none of you were at fault. Three of you don't deserve pain and hurt." Young Jae's filter again stopped working.

"True. Three of us do care about each other way too much to hurt another. It is just..." Min Jun did not know the accurate term to explain what messed up.

Young Jae remembered Min Jun's plan to solve the issue. So he guessed whose heart would be broken and who would get the apology. "So you are planning to tell Henry you don't love him, even if it would hurt him. Apologies to Mathais and accept even if the other would never talk to you?"

"That is the plan now. I know it is not the best plan, but it is the right one." Min Jun didn't even sound confident to himself.

"It is the best plan." Young Jae's word Surprised Min Jun.

"You will not be leading the other on. There could be a chance between Henry and Mathais. Even if the things don't get better you three, at least there would be no lies, unnecessary leading on and deceit there. You will be honest with yourself." As someone who was deceived in the name of love, Young Jae knew the pain of it. The bitter truth was always better than poisoned lie tasting like sweet.

"Now, your words give me confidence. I do not know how I am going to talk and make it happen, but I will. Gamsahabnida!" Min Jun felt comforted even though he was grieving for the friendships he would be losing soon.

After explaining his problem to BB a couple of days before, he was lost. BB's words were ringing in the head. 'Figure out Min Min. You have to fix this as you complicated it with your choice of lifestyle. You clean up your mess. Think of a way. You always have my support. But you need to figure out what you want first.' Now Min Jun want to tell the idea to BB. Not for discussion or to ask opinion but to say this is how I would clear the mess I created.

Young Jae felt nervous all of a sudden but still asked. "What would you do if Henry doesn't want to let you go?"
