Somehow, this situation felt to ray as if he was a teenage boy who made a mistake and now he's sitting with his father and waiting to hear what the consequences will be. But this was far from a mistake. Hunter's arrival into his life may have been unpredicted and a sad event upon the death of Emily, but he thought of the little boy as a blessing. As a part of himself that he loved from the moment, he laid his eyes on him. and he will forever be grateful to Emily for leaving him such a wonderful gift.
