Chapter 338 - Tough Decisions

"Well, what do you think? Would you have been able to do anything if you'd been there, bro?" Kilella asked me. 

"Hm...honestly, it's hard to say. I suppose that I could've frozen time to keep it from getting away, but since it was mostly underground, I would've had trouble being precise. I can't freeze time around solely a specific target if I can't even see it," I pointed out, after mulling over everything she'd said, before adding, "That said, I could have frozen time everywhere except around myself and you guys, so that might have worked. No way to know for sure without trying it out." 

Today's the 21st of April, a day after my sister and some of the other Aces had gone out to subjugate the plant creature that Mitchell and the others had encountered two days ago. 

But they failed to destroy it, as it managed to slip away before they could pull it off. And from everything I've learnt about it, I'd say that we have a lot to be concerned about.
