Pool Party

the next day the band was gathered in the living room for another video

"Hello, guys this is Silver Shadows welcome back to the Silver House!"

Liam said "today I'm going to be your host for something super fun we have planned for today,

are you guys ready to hang out with Silver Shadows?" he smiled "I really hope you are!"

"no spoilers," Zane said to him with a grin making everybody laugh

"I wasn't spoiling anything," Liam said innocently but he was wearing a mischievous look on his face

"guys we have some special themes for today so everyone is going to run away and change real quick you'll get see us guys all shirtless" he added on sneakily

"yah i said no dam spoilers it's supposed to be a surprise for the fans!" Zane yelled playfully at him

"It was just a tiny hint come on shirtless could mean anything" Liam teased

everyone was laughing Liam winked at the camera "wait for it guys"

the video turned into a sparkling curtain with a picture of the band on it

and then the curtain raised up and then Kaleb appeared by the pool

"surprise! we are throwing you guys a pool party hangout!! thank you guys for being our fans and taking us to be number one on the charts!"

Kaleb said grinning he was wearing a pair of black and red swim shorts one leg was black and the other red

and the pockets of his pants were outlined in silver with silver draw stings at the waist and around the bottoms of the legs

no shirt and a black and red floppy hat on his blue hair

that had the same silver drawstring from his pants tied through silver ring holes

that went around the rim of it and then tied in a knot so that ends of the drawstring hung down they

would bounce around every time he moved his head with the cutest boyish look on his youthful

face it suited him perfectly he looked bright-eyed and mischievous the youngest brother of the family

"like we promised guys no shirt!" he cried laughing "and I'm your host again" he laughed

"Actually, we were going to let Liam host but I thought it would be way more fun of you guys if I did it so your cool Lil bro Kaleb is here!"

he started posing all coolly modeling his swimwear

the pool was behind him and on the patio was a table laden with food and there was music and

decorations there were floating toys in the pool

"guys I want to introduce you guys to the food first," he said going to the table "just look at this spread Kanna and Melody outdid themselves for this"

as the camera showed the dishes on display they all looked beautifully plated and sumptuous

he said softly "they should be gourmet chefs in another life shh don't tell on me" he stole a sandwich from a dish and stuffed it into his mouth

and then some chips from another and then roasted crab leg from another dish he dipped it into the sauce with a grin and ate it really quickly groaning at the delicious taste

"Kaleb hurry up" Kanna called impatiently off camera

"guys we are going to have a swimsuit model fashion show from the girls," he said loudly chewing quickly and swallowing the last mouthful of crab leg

this was met by laughter off-camera from the girls as they all came out of the house through the open patio door

in swimsuits

they were all wearing one-piece red black and silver swimsuits all in different styles showing off

each girl in a flattering manner

"Why are you all wearing the same colors as me?" Kaleb asked with a grin

"Melody's idea we get band swimsuits made for the occasion guys but get them in our individual style black and red is Silver Shadows colors," Kanna said

these look really great don't you think?" she wore the type that cut high on her hip

showing off her voluptuous curves

half her suit was red the other half black with geometrical patterns cut into it and silver see-through netted mesh

in the spaces where the shapes were cut showing her skin underneath she was very pleased with it

sienna was wearing a cute version with the top of her suit being red and

the bottom being black high waist booty shorts

the front of the top was tied in a bow in the middle of her bosom and trimmed in silver

and the black bottom with silver ruffles around her hips like a skirt

giving her a cute but sexy playful kind of look which suited her perfectly

and Melody was a red halter necked swimsuit and it was splashed with sharp

black and silver designs that looked like claws had ripped up her swimsuit

"wow melody going for the dystopian look I see nice" Kaleb commented

the girls bursting into laughter "isn't it our turn yet?" Liam complained from inside the house

"ya let's see the guys, everyone!" Kaleb cried excited "Daisuke is going to show off his muscles and all the female fans are going to go crazy Sienna you cant be jealous!"

"oh shut up Kaleb!" she yelled at him blushing as the guys all came out

Zane in swim pants that matched his wife's bright red with silver and black claws splashed all over it with his pale skin and black and white spiky hair the vivid color really looked good on him

and Liam in knee-length shorts designed similar to Kanna's swimsuit with

geometrical shapes cut going down the side of his pants legs with silver netted mesh at the bottom of the pants his toned abs were on show as his shorts hung off his hips he smiled shyly "hi guys"

Daisuke came out in more of ragged style dystopian surf shorts made of cloth and soft denim fabric it was black

with a faded look that made it seem old and washed out with red patches of color

in the torn out parts of his pants mostly on cargo style pockets on the sides and back of his pant

the tears were surrounded by silver fuzz and bits of shredded up silver and red cloth with a silver drawstring hanging in the front

making him look more rugged with his blond hair falling around his strong face

and his muscular body on display

"woow! guys look at him!" Kaleb cried pointing because he was very muscular and powerfully defined

he looked bigger out of his clothes

"sienna i respect you for being able to hold down a tank like that he's a whole lot of man for a little girl like you" Kanna teased

sienna blushed and giggled but she was unable to take her eyes off as

Daisuke flexed and all his muscles rippled and bulged out even bigger than before as he took a pose

"wow!" Zane gave him a thumbs up with both hands nodding in approval

everyone gasped Kaleb was grinning "dude you're a beast!" he yelled

"Why have you never showed us this before? you're stacked like mountain bro"

"I am man and animal merged into one body" Daisuke joked "thats how I look at it anyway" he grinned

everyone started laughing "I call dibs on first dive" Daisuke said he suddenly burst into a run and did

and double flip in the air and dived into the pool he touched the bottom and shot back up to the surface

leaping out of the water like a dolphin doing a backflip and diving back in

"guys no one is swimming today," Kaleb said "we just going to hang out here and let Daisuke do his thing in the pool,

and the rest of us will hang out and eat all the food what do you guys think?"

Melody laughed "guys I'm going to show you how a mermaid swims," she said diving in gracefully

she slipped into the clear water leaving hardly any ripples and

then gracefully wiggled her whole body and shot through the water

as she swam through the water everyone began to see the reason why her swimsuit was designed in such a way

her lavender and pink hair streamed in the water behind her giving her an ethereal

look and the designs on her suit flashed as she moved through the water

as she began to twist and turn and do tricks under the water

she even swam in circles around Daisuke who was in the pool he tried to grab her once or twice and she

showed how she could easily escape by wiggling away very fast all of sudden with a burst of speed

she could swim any direction in the water in movements eerily similar to an eel or a serpent

her body was amazingly flexible strong and fast in the water

melody came up grinning

"Melody can you breathe underwater still even though you don't have a tail anymore?" Kaleb asked

"nope that ability is gone but because I was born in the water my body still has some natural features that didn't completely disappear" she explained

"there is a special air sack that mermaids use to keep air for really deep dives certain parts of the ocean on Waterworld are especially deep but

thats where the best food is for us but the deeper you go the less air there is in the water to be filtered by our gills

so for us to eat we need to able to take an air supply with us on deeper dives so this is an organ thats inside of my body and my body needs it to work in order to live,"

"so even though externally you are a human internally you are still a mermaid?" he said

"yes for the most part the reason why I can stay under longer" she explained

"is because I took a really big breath and filled up my air sack, our air sacks are bigger than human lungs, so we can stay under for longer than you can, even without gills our bodies are naturally adapted to water

thats, why I can still swim well even with legs its, not something that can be changed, just some things, can externally because the origin story of Waterworld began when the first

mermaids found the continent and came out of the water for the first time and discovered

they could shed their tails and walk on legs and live on the lands"

"wow thats really cool to know about mermaids," Kaleb said "guys we get a swimming lesson, some mermaid biology, and a little bit of cultural history all the same time"

this made everybody laugh "this is turning out to be a very educational pool party two words I never imagined ever went together party and education"

Kanna was laughing so much she fell into the pool with a huge splash which made everybody laugh even more

"oh my gosh! kanna are you all right" melody cried swimming over and helping her

"guys this is totally not in the show today this is just kanna having a moment"

Kaleb said,

"stop it jeez are you trying to make us drown from laughing?"

kanna cried pushing her blue hair back out of her face

"cannonball!" Liam cried jumping in

the two girls released screams as Liam's huge splash into the pool doused them in the water left them with messy hair all over their faces again

sienna couldn't help laughing even harder as the pair stood in the pool glaring at the offender

"yaah!" kanna yelled at Liam he laughed and swam away as kanna started chasing him

kaleb got into the pool and the camera followed him along the pool's edge

Zane got into the pool from the nearby stairs joining his wife in the water he was also a great swimmer as

the pair began to swim in a way that looked like they were dancing in the water

with melody holding Zane facing her with her arms wrapped around his midsection

while her lithe body powered them through the water at a moderate pace

"wow thats so cool she can swim carrying Zane like that" Kaleb said Melody laughed

"you're so weird of course i can carry him how do you think mermaids care for their children after giving birth? we are born as babies that have to be cared for, the same way a human baby is cared for, when a pod is on the move the females have to carry their babies with them

carrying is actually one of the most natural swim postures for mermaids because it starts from the time we are pregnant our stomachs will get big like a humans too until the birth of the child

so pregnant mermaids will swim with their arms around their stomachs and when the child is born the child is continued to be carried in a similar way

and the carrying state continues until the baby is strong enough to swim

on its own and that takes a while because little ones will get tired of swimming for long durations

especially on migrations so mothers will still alternately carry their children for years after birth actually a mermaid will stop needing its mom for support sometime around its adolescence to the adult stage"

"wow so female mermaids must be really strong as they will spend

a great deal of time carrying a child while swimming?" Kaleb said

"exactly," melody said "we also have to teach them how to do things, like how to hunt and dive for food and the skills they need to learn to live a life in the water"

"so when you and Zane have babies will they be mermaids or humans?" Kaleb asked

this question brought melody and Zane up short in surprise as they both gazed at Kaleb who was grinning cheekily at them

Zane splashed him with water "get away you annoying brat how can ask us about having babies right now?"

"We are editing this part out," melody said "oh come oni thought it was an interesting legitimate question" he cried "you two are no fun" he swam back to where

sienna opted to get on a floating pool toy that was at the edge of the pool being the last to get in the pool but as she

floated out into the water on it suddenly it was overturned and sienna was dumped into the water from underneath

by a playful Daisuke, she fell into the water with a startled scream but Daisuke was right there to catch her

"yah!" she cried hitting his chest with a small fist "that scared me!"

he laughed "relax I wont let my mate drown"

he said holding her around the waist he lay on his back

with her floating just above him he began to slowly

swim backwards towing her with him

"Sienna isn't a swimmer like the rest of us guys" Kaleb was saying swimming

along the edge of the pool as he followed them and the camera followed him

the others were playing in the pool but sienna and Daisuke were having a swimming lesson instead

"hi guys," she said to camera as it drew alongside

"I can't swim I never went to the ocean when I was a kid, my parents never took me, also we lived far away from it in a big city too and then we came here to Prylea,

which doesn't have an ocean period so no swimming for me this is the first time I'm swimming at my age it must be surprising to you guys huh?"

"don't worry ill take good care of you you'll learn to swim in no time"

Daisuke said "you're doing really well already just kick your feet and move

naturally get used to the water and don't be scared of it and you'll do fine"

"Daisuke the swim teacher everyone" she joked

Daisuke suddenly let her go and she started to sink into the water

she gave a scream and wrapping

her arms around his neck and clinging to him

she hit his chest "stop teasing me you two are so terrible"

he and Kaleb were laughing "you are too cute we can't help teasing just a little bit"

Daisuke said dropping a placating kiss on her lips

he started to swim with sienna clinging to him enjoying the

water and Daisuke's arms and body holding her securely

they played games in the water and the underwater cameras installed in the pool

gave fans fun views of Melody Zane and Daisuke's underwater swimming skills and kanna Kaleb and Liam's silly antics

and soon even Sienna joined in Daisuke with sienna riding on his back holding unto his shoulders

was free diving and touching the bottom of the pool with her hand and then swimming to the surface to breathe

after doing it few times and feeling like she got the hang of it

she got brave enough to try it on her own and then doing it several more times after that without help soon she was confidently swimming underwater with Daisuke for the cameras

and even letting melody take her for a ride around the pool underwater accompanied by Daisuke and Zane

they had races between the strong swimmers in the group but naturally, melody won showing

how incredibly fast she was in the water it seemed like the pool was not nearly big enough

for her to be able to reach her full speed

and putting on songs from sienna's favorite bands from earth 2 she sang and

danced in her native language for the fans on the edge of the pool

with Melody and Kanna acting as back up dancers

while the guys were cheering them

on from the water throwing around pool toys like it was a mini-concert

the guys showed off some cool acrobatic style dives and tricks and they nicely ended recording the video well saying good bye to their fans
