The Deviant Witch

Eusora, the Human Continent. The Witch Federation. Shadowsoul House.

The Witch Federation. An integral part of Eusora's Alliance and one of the four most powerful organisations on the Human Continent.

The Aura Council, the birthplace of all Aura techniques and only producers of Aura Emperors in the world. The Magic Halls, home to the greatest population of Magic Towers anywhere in the world. The Divine Church, a religious organisation that brought together Holy Saints and Celestial Templars.

And finally, the Witch Federation, the Holy Land for all Witches.

Just like any magician lineage, Witches were an exclusive class, reserved only for women with the relevant talents. Fire Witches were trained in Witch Houses specialising in magical flame arts. Arcane Witches were educated in Witch Houses that delved in the arcane arts and so on.

While some might condemn the Witch lineages for their rigid requirements, the results spoke for themselves. Over thirty Witches were ranked on the Heaven's Listing, the highest number for any of the four major organisations in the Human Alliance.

In fact, before Roan took the number one spot, it was held by an infamous Witch from the most prestigious Witch House in the Witch Federation.

And it wasn't just power that the Witches excelled at. As the only organisation that took in disciples from all throughout Eusora, the Witch Federation was also the most connected organisation. There wasn't any information that wouldn't flow through their ears, and their intelligence network was no inferior to that of the Alliance.

If not for the fact that they were few in numbers, the Witch Federation could have easily taken over Eusora for themselves.

"Princess! Bad news!"

An exasperated cry echoed through the corridors of Shadowsoul House. A young girl knocked rapidly on the door before her, causing a ruckus that would wake up an entire army. Fortunately for her, only one person was living on the floor.

"What is it? I'm busy!" Already awake, the woman on the other side of the door roared out.

"This is urgent!"

"As I said, I'm busy! If I need to repeat myself, I-..."

"It's about the Magic God!"

The moment the young Witch pointed out the news she'd brought, a loud bang ripped through the air. The sounds of someone rummaging through their items could be heard as frantic footsteps tickled the ears of the Apprentice Witch. And finally, after a good thirty seconds, the door before her opened up.

"Naomi… Next time send me a message before coming up. I was in the middle of something important..."

"Princess, but you were the one who ordered me to deliver any news about the Magic God immediately."

"You… Nevermind, just tell me the news."

Naomi frowned as she watched the image of the person she served. The Princess' gorgeous purple hair was dishevelled with numerous strands poking out from her side. It was as if she had been rolling in the bed just moment's prior and based on her outfit… that didn't seem too far from the truth.

Laced up in a frilly nightgown, the Princess looked like she had gotten out of bed. But oddly enough, there was a perfume fragrance coming out from the young woman, a scent that could bring out the inner beasts of any virile man.

In fact, her appearance alone was enough to stir the imaginations of anyone, regardless of their gender.

Two immaculate dark blue crystals were embedded in the young woman's pupils, giving her the mystique and sultry aura that all Witches dream of. High cheekbones strongly defined her small, heart-shaped face and her perfect nose bridge was sharp enough to cut paper.

Even in her unkempt form, the Princess was a beauty beyond words. But as they all say, the most beautiful roses have the sharpest thorns.

Ranked 39 on the Heaven's Listing, Cassiel Shadowsoul was among the most powerful Witches alive. At the tender age of twenty-five, she was already named the heiress of Shadowsoul House, one of the most influential Witch Houses in the Witch Federation.

Cassiel had everything in the world. She had the looks that would make girls jealous and men salivate. She was a Magic Saint that could destroy armies and topple nations with just her spells. She had all the influence and money in the world. Cassiel Shadowsoul could have anything she wanted, everything except for…

"The Magic God! He resigned from the Alliance!"

"Roan? What the hell are you talking about?"

"I'd just received word from our Witches at the Frontier. Two days ago, the Magic God walked into Aura Emperor Kassadin's office and tendered in his resignation! The Aura Emperor was unable to restrain the Magic God as he teleported away and now the Magic God's whereabouts are unknown!"

"Roan resigned from the Alliance? Why isn't this on the front page news?" Cassiel gasped.

The Magic God leaving the Alliance was a colossal scoop. Roan had his haters, but even they understood how important he was for the Alliance. The feats that Roan pulled off in the Great Magic War were integral to the Demon Empire's withdrawal and the current state of peace that the two continents enjoyed. Roan resigning should be on papers everywhere, given how important of a person he was.

"The Alliance Council had ruled for a cover-up. Their hope is to find Roan and persuade him to return before the news got out."

"Persuade Roan? What a joke!" Cassiel snorted. "If that block of wood could be persuaded, I wouldn't have suffered all these years!"

"P-Princess?"

"No, nothing. Continue with your report. Did you at least find some clues on where Roan is going?"

Cassiel folded her arms and tilted her chin to the side. She didn't want her subordinate to find out her feelings at the moment.

"T-That… The Magic God used a transfer circle so he could be anywhere on the continent. However, we did manage to hear the reason why he left the Alliance."

"Oh ho? So what magical reason could have split Roan away from the Alliance he'd spent two decades defending?"

Cassiel raised her brow and tapped her feet in anticipation. The Roan she knew wouldn't betray the Alliance, and neither was he one to just simply walk away. There must be a pressing reason for the Magic God's sudden disappearance.

"The Magic God he… wants to find a disciple!" Naomi yelped.

"A disciple?"

Cassiel froze. Her body stood rooted to the ground, and her eyes fluttered about. It took a while for her mind to compute the news, and a variety of emotions were written all over her face. First was shock. Then, it morphed into confusion. And finally, just pure bemusement.

"HAHAHAHA!!! So that's what it's about? Disciple?! HAHAHA!!! It makes total sense! That's right, Roan would be the type to do that!" The purple-haired Witch chortled, her shoulders trembling and face turning crimson.

"Disciple, oh disciple… Tired of the world, the lonely tyrant now seeks company. Roan, you stupid fool."

"P-Princess?"

The apprentice witch was unable to comprehend her mistress' words. And well, one could hardly blame her. Roan Erymneus was an enigma to most. Even within the Human Alliance, which consisted of approximately three billion people, perhaps only a thousand had seen Roan face-to-face. Of that thousand, only a hundred shared a conversation with that man. And only a dozen-odd people would have a close relationship with him.

Cassiel Shadowsoul was one of that dozen. Being of the same age and talent, Cassiel was one of the few humans in the world that actually knew Roan the man, not Roan the Magic God. If anyone could deduce what Roan was thinking, it would be Cassiel.

"Naomi! Gather as much news about Roan as you can. No matter how big or small it is, I want you to report it all to me!"

"E-Even if they're just rumours?"

"You fool, rumours are probably the only way you'll be able to find anything about Roan. That man has the magical ability to teleport anywhere on the continent. Following concrete leads would only give him time to escape."

Cassiel snorted. As an ally, Roan's teleportation spells were great to have. However, for someone chasing him, those same spells were nothing short of a nightmare.

"T-That..."

"What are you waiting for?! I'm not paying you to mumble in front of my door!"

"A-Apologies, Princess! P-Pardon me!"

Naomi instantly bowed and trotted out of Cassiel's sights. It didn't take long for the Witch Princess' floor to be totally vacated, giving Cassiel the privacy she so desired. Sighing, the purple-haired beauty gently locked her door and once more sprung into her luxury bed.

Cassiel raised her arms to the ceiling, glancing at her perfectly white hands and fingers. Her nails were painted red with adorable decorations laced all over them. It was Cassiel's attempt to look more beautiful for the man she liked but alas… he wouldn't be here to see them.

The Witch reached out to a two-metre-long bolster with a printed image of her most beloved on it. She stared into those gorgeous hazel eyes and bit her lower lip.

"Roan… Just when I'd thought that I've got you, you slip away. If you wanted company, I would have gladly given it to you..."

Cassiel admonished her body pillow as if Roan was right there.

"If you would have accepted my deal, we would have lived together for the rest of time. Loneliness? I'd doubt you'll ever feel that as long as you were by my side for eternity. Haha, would a disciple fill that void that you have, oh Magic God?"

Cassiel knew Roan very well. During the Great Magic War, Cassiel assisted Roan in numerous battles, sometimes becoming his right hand. The Shadowsoul Witch knew Roan's favourite magic spells and his preferred fighting style. She also knew all of his habits and his desires.

It wasn't an exaggeration to claim that Cassiel was Roan's best friend. No, given that she was the only one around him that was about his age, Cassiel may have been Roan's only friend.

But Cassiel yearned for more. She didn't want to be just a friend to Roan, she wanted something more. Cassiel wanted a much deeper connection with the Magic God. Alas, her feelings weren't reciprocated.

The Shadowsoul Witch sat up on her bed, folding the Roan body pillow in half. Cassiel didn't need to look at her body pillow to paint an image of Roan's face. The dozens of pictures on her ceiling would do the trick. There were paintings, murals, and even vivid photographs of Roan in all sorts of positions.

There was an image where Roan valiantly fought against the Demon Army in a hopeless battle. There was another with Roan donned in his mage robes, reading grimoires in the Alliance Library. There was even a photograph of Roan lazily staring in the air for no apparent reason.

But Cassiel's prized possession was the photograph in her locket. Cassiel raised the locket up and gently unlocked it, revealing the memory of a fully nude Roan, who was unaware of the secret camera that the Shadowsoul Witch had hidden.

It didn't matter how many times Cassiel looked at the picture, her heart would palpitate, and her mouth would salivate.

Cassiel dropped down onto her bed and grabbed on her body pillow, ensnaring it with her two heavily-muscled thighs. She brought her locket to her face and gently licked the spicy picture. It was time for the lascivious Witch to continue where she left off.

"Roan… I swear in the name of Shadowsoul, I'll make you mine."
