Cathryn was not allowed to leave the mansion after that. She tried to escape but every attempt she made only failed. They knew she would try to escape so the door to her room and all its windows had guards outside.

She had tried to plead with her mother. She tried to get her to understand her but Lady Agatha would not and could not. After all, she did not marry for love. She married Lord Blake as her duty as a noble lady. Lady Agatha did hope for her daughter to get a love match.
