"What happened?" I asked weakly. I tried sitting up, but I cringe in agony when my chest feels like thousands of needles pierced me.

"Baby, lie down. You're stitches aren't that healed yet." She chided with fear in her eyes. "You had a surgery last week." She remotely raised the upper bed so I could sit up.

Suddenly flashes of memories clouded my mind of the day I confessed my condition to Felicity. My eyes flew wide. I promptly place my palm on top of my heart. My eyes rapidly scanned the room. "Where's Lily?" I asked, panic creeping up my veins. "Where is she?" I asked again. Tears begin blurring my vision while gazing at my mum. Before my mum could form a word, the door opened and Father came in with brown paper bag and a basket of fruits. He smiled at me, but it didn't reach his eyes. My instinct tells me something isn't right. Immediately he placed the things on top of the table.

"Finally, you woke up. I missed you buddy."
