Yu Feng felt her head resting over a warm and comfortable surface, a sweet and fresh smell coming from it making her wanting to rest more.
She moved unconsciously her head trying to sniff more of that fragrance. "Mmm!" She meowed as she sniffed the essence.
"Are you okay, Feng?" A male voice was heard.
Feng shot her eyes open, looking up towards the voice to find Haotian looking at her, care and worry could be seen from his purple eyes.
"Haotian!" Feng shouted "What are you do-?" Before even finishing the sentence, she realized their situation. She was lying over the ground while using Haotian's lap as a pillow.
"Wha-wha!" Seeing the embarrassing position and Haotian's beautiful eyes, Feng's face turned deep red "Haotian, what are you doing?!" She shouted as she swiftly stood up, breaking the embarrassing position.
"Hg!" Feng grunted, pain running all over her body, flaming her inner injuries due to the quick movement. Her legs gave away making her lose her equilibrium and making her fall.
Haotian quickly reacted, standing up and surrounding Feng's body between his strong hands, stopping her fall "You shouldn't move, your injuries are very serious". He said with concern.
The pain caused Feng's mind to calm down, remembering what happened and how she was injured. Now more sobber, she looked around and found herself over her training ground, with only Haotian there, and being hugged carefully by him. With a tint of red on her face, she avoided his gaze and said with a low and shy voice "I-it's alright now. I'm not gonna move forcefully again. You can let me go, Haotian."
Seeing the shy side of the usually bratty Feng caused a little smirk to appear over Haotian's face "Okay, but be sure to keep resting" Haotian said as she carefully lowered Feng, letting her sit over the ground "I already notified Lingling to come to heal you, you should take your time to rest until then."
"Thanks" She smiled lightly at him.
"What happened Feng? How did you get injured?" Asked Haotian concerned. Feng's head fell down, showing a depressed look. "Feng?" He said concerned.
"Nothing" Feng quickly lifted her head, smiling and trying to put a strong front "I had a little problem while cultivating and I injured myself. It's only a minor injury, you don't need to worry about."
"Don't lie to me, Feng" Haotian said with a serious face "This is a major injury, I could sense spirit blood surging from you. This is much more than a little problem. If you don't want to tell me, I won't ask again, but please don't put a strong front in front of me and lie to me."
Feng was a little shocked by Haotian's tone, she knew that there was no way to escape the situation lying around. She could tell it to Haotian or run away from him, affecting their actual relation. In the end, it was a matter of trust. Would she be able to trust enough Haotian? Someone she had only known for 5 months. However, in these 5 months, he had become without a doubt someone special for her, their spars and training developing to a friendship or even more.
"You're right. I have a big problem cultivating" Feng put a serious face, directly looking at Haotian's eyes. "I have a secret, a big secret that I hid from everyone."
"It is related to you being a girl and crossdressing like a boy?" Haotian interrupted.
"It is very related. This is my way to hide my true id-" Feng blinked three times "Wait a moment. You knew that I am a woman?!" Feng asked shocked.
Haotian smirked and pointed over Feng's chest. Feng looked down and saw her two peaks, showing a modest B-cup. She finally realized that she wasn't wearing even her shirt, instead, Haotian's coat covered her body, hiding her top, but unable to cover it completely "Whaaa!" She shouted embarrassed, her face turning completely red and she crossed her arms over her body, trying to hide it.
"D-did you see anything?" She shyly asked.
"Don't worry about it. I had already known long before that you were a woman so I won't peek at you without permission" Haotian smirked making Feng redder "It was Biyun who changed you and the one that went to warn Lingling. The bandages were needed to be taken and your clothes were all bloody."
Feng strongly gazed at him and determined that he was saying the truth. She always tightly bandaged her chest area to keep her facade as a boy, it was uncomfortable normally, not talking about if she was injured "You always knew it?" Feng asked.
"Always, always no. I needed some little time, like 10 minutes or some. And I must say that I'm not the only one that knows about it. Meijing and Biyun also knew about it and I am sure that Osler from your team also knows it. I don't know about the others."
Feng sighed in defeat. All the time spent keeping such a lie, it seemed like a joke now, having been quickly discovered "How did you know?"
"I smelled it" Haotian said tapping her nose. It was the truth. Thanks to his spirit, his body was far stronger than normal people, his senses augmented by a great margin. This was especially true for detecting women, making able to detect woman over a km from him in his actual state.
"So it was like that" She started laughing "And I thought that I had everyone in black about it."
"That more as I like it" Haotian smiled "A smile fits you better than that sorrowful face"
Feng blinked and quickly realized Haotian's actions. The reason behind Haotian's interrupting her with a joking tone about the relation with her being a girl. He had detected her sadness and sorrow and wanted to calm her down, making her smile again and not suffer over her secrets, showing that their relationship didn't need to change and that it didn't matter the secret, he would be there for her.
"Thanks, Tian!" Feng smiled brightly. This little interaction made up her mind even more, making it clearer that she could trust Haotian. Then, she breathed loudly and calmed down, making a serious face but much calmer than before "The truth is that Yu Feng is not my real name. I'm a girl, of course, and my name is Bai Chenxiang."
Short chapter, but I won't be able to write more today and I thought about posting it like this. It took much more time than I thought, finding it difficult to write these little interactions.
