The Door

"Wait..."

Aerion stood up, his frown deepening.

'This sweet drink... was it poison?'

Before he could say much else, Visenya had already left her seat and pushed him onto the table. Then she got on top of him and caressed his face before moving her lips to his for a kiss. All the while, the dragon grew stiffer.

After a moment, Aerion set aside her hands and pushed her to the side.

"This is wrong..."

Sitting up at the table, she stopped while their two violet gazes met. Aerion frowned but Visenya smiled. She went down again and smothered his face in her rather ample bosom. Then, she spoke into his ear in a low yet alluring voice.

"Either you've become that much weaker... or you are pulling an unconvincing act with that slight push."

Visenya sat up and lowered her dress slightly, revealing her bare breasts to Aerion. She looked like a goddess with her long braided silver-gold hair, violet eyes and voluptuous frame. Aerion gazed upon her and his resistance naturally waned. His flaming heart told him to go ahead but his hazy mind thought otherwise... while the former grew more prominent, the latter faded away.

"If you do not move, I will."

In what seemed a blur, Visenya removed his pants and her own clothes... and mounted him. First, she started slow, taking the full length of his member at her pleasure. Then she began to rotate her hips more and quicken her pace. All the while, Aerion grew more comfortable as his hands rose to grasp her breasts.

"Such a lovely pair." Aerion finally spoke, his violet eyes glowing with desire as he swiftly sat up. He sucked on the left teat while playing with the right.

"Mn~..." Visenya let out a moan as Aerion continued taking liberties with her breasts. "...You are rather experienced."

"This is just the beginning." Aerion edged closer and kissed Visenya as she continued to mount him. "A true beauty like you deserves to be thoroughly relished..."

"Show me..."

"Gladly."

Aerion pushed her down without hesitation and did not relent from the moment he began to thrust inside. Being who he was, he did not lack speed... nor the endurance to keep it up.

As Aerion continued pounding Visenya, she embraced him and grabbed his long silver hair while her legs wrapped around his back. Her moans of pleasure were loud and entirely unsuppressed, driving Aerion to dive deeper.

"Ahhh~..."

They climaxed almost simultaneously.

Aerion laid down on the table opposite Visenya while she slowly rose and got up to dress into her gown. Once she was done, Visenya left as if nothing had ever happened. All the while, Aerion began to contemplate what he had done. After a long pause, he got up and dressed properly. With a flick, he filled an empty goblet with ice-cold water and drank it all.

One... two... three... four.

He continued to drink several goblets of refreshing water, each cup further clearing his mind. Although, eventually, he no longer had the stomach to drink anymore and stopped.

Step... step...

His ears were alerted to a few distant steps that only sounded closer with each passing moment. Then... the source of those steps reached the door and opened it, revealing Bellona herself. She looked at Aerion and chuckled.

"I expected you to have been more disordered. Anyway... the way that proud and composed queens can become such lustful women is such an amusing thing. I suppose Aegon hasn't given her a good fuck in quite a while, hahahaha."

"You are the one who tampered with my drink... weren't you?" Aerion glared up at Bellona.

"Always pointing the blame at me... am I the only woman capable of plotting in this little fort?" Bellona smiled, nodding. "Although, in this case, you would be correct. You shouldn't feel betrayed; I did it all for your betterment. Given how much you drank... any other man would be at it for hours, if not a whole day. Your constraint is always most admirable."

"My betterment? What constraint? I... gave in." Aerion sighed, his tightening hand almost breaking the goblet in two.

"Why must pleasure be shamed as if it is sin?" Bellona replied, stepping forward until she was behind Aerion. "Pleasure leads to joy and joy leads to happiness. Is happiness... a sin?"

"... Pleasure is not the issue at hand."

"Sometimes you don't choose whom your heart desires. It just happens. You, for instance, are not foreign to entanglements with your family. You love your cousins, aunt and even sister. You even fell in love with the daughter of the man who once took your throne and killed your father. If you had never met her before, what would the old you think of such an arrangement? I believe you'd laugh and call Robert the greatest fool who ever lived... am I wrong?"

"No," Aerion admitted. "What of it?"

"Think about it like this; Visenya and Aegon were more or less arranged to be married from the moment they were born. It was their tradition, of course, to wed the eldest daughter to the eldest son. But... Aegon married Rhaenys for love. Visenya never had the choice to wed another for love... she was just expected to accept it. Now, she finds far more comfort in your company than she finds in Aegon's. You also find more pleasure in her company than Aegon does. Aerion, do you see what I see?"

"Do you think Aegon would just set Visenya aside?" Aerion replied, turning to Bellona.

"If he does, all is well. If he does not... we have many ways of being convincing, don't we?" Bellona smiled.

"Kill the man called Aerion and let the 'God' within him be born. Gods do not chain themselves to the laws of man... no, they do as they will. So do conquerors. Lands, wealth and even women; they take all that their ambitious hearts desire."

'She is not wrong.'

Bellona embraced Aerion from the back, pressing her bosom against it and whispered into his ear;

"Embrace who you are."

She let go and retraced her steps... but Aerion grabbed her hand.

"Stay."

"... Aww, the dragon wants a cuddle?" Bellona titled her head, stepping back. Her smile was as devious as it was alluring.

"Don't be absurd." Aerion frowned, shaking his head.

"It's quite alright." Bellona caressed his face and sat down on his seat. "Come, sit on my lap."

"..."

"There's no reason to be ashamed. In truth, I am your progenitor... the person who made you a vampire. Even if all is lost, you will always find home beside me. It is within your nature."

After a moment, Aerion stopped hesitating and sat down on top of Bellona.

"If you keep speaking such thoughts into my head, don't act so surprised when the day comes where I 'conquer' you myself."

"Oh, given that I am your direct progenitor, that would make me relative to your mother..." Bellona chuckled, stroking his long silver hair. "You don't stop just at sisters, do you?"

"I will only ever have one mother."

"True enough... in a way."

After a while, Aerion stood up and took his leave with plenty to ponder about.

~

Aerion was honest about his earlier entanglement with Jocelyn, who did not seem to mind it so much on one condition. The following day, Visenya acted as if nothing happened and proceeded with her activities as queen. It was that independence that made Visenya so desirable to Aerion... she was a queen who did not need to rely on any man.

Aerion was more of the same in regards to acting like nothing happened (for now)... deciding to take Jocelyn north for a little voyage. After taking plenty of furs, he flew her to the lands Beyond the Wall.

"Gods, it's so cold here." Jocelyn rubbed her gloved hands together.

"You still haven't said why you wanted to come all the way here."

"To see your greatest adversary, of course. The Night King... he must be extremely formidable to have been the only person to defeat you."

"He was." Aerion nodded. "Regarding that, I'd like to meet him again myself."

"... I wonder, how does one draw out someone like the Night King?"

"I still have my blessing," Aerion replied, both of his eyes flashing a dark blue as he concentrated. "He... is so much less... impressive."

"Huh?"

"We've still got a ways to go."

...

BANG.

Lightning cracked in the frozen cave as Jocelyn battled dozens of Others and countless wights. Using Geomancy to guard herself and Electromancy to counter, she slaughtered all of the undead who blocked her path. Aerion, who was simply observing, was impressed throughout.

"Remind me not to upset you." Aerion japed as he watched another Other get pummeled into the ground. "Gods, you don't even need me here."

"I've been practising all these years, you know." Jocelyn Baratheon replied, finishing the last of the undead in sight. "None of those were the Night King, I'd assume?"

"You would be correct." Aerion nodded, stepping forward and opening his palm. "That smirking cunt is hiding behind that frozen entrance over there."

A blazing fireblast formed at his palm, grew in size, and was sent its way.

BOOM.

"Night King... where are you? Don't be frightened, we just want to converse with you a little." Jocelyn spoke, watching the vapour clear.

"..."

The Night King emerged from the heat, relatively unscathed. He hadn't been directly struck... but his smirking expression was no more. Not as Aerion remembered, anyway. The Night King was... shocked. Frightened, even.

He did not speak at all, for that matter.

"Are you pretending to be a bloody mute now?" Aerion frowned, stepping forward. He drew Ambition and stopped his approach when he was within arm's length. "Speak up. Tell me how a world of undead would be so wonderful."

"..."

The Night King stared at him but did not speak... again.

"You lost to him?" Jocelyn raised an eyebrow. "... Watch your back!"

When Aerion turned to Jocelyn, the Night King created a spear of ice and attempted to drive it into Aerion's heart. Jocelyn, however, blocked it with a wall of earth.

"Is this the limit of your magic?" Aerion laughed, deflecting the next blow from the Night King with ease and lighting Ambition aflame. Within moments, the spear melted entirely. "What's wrong, almighty Night King? Did you lose your crown as well as your tongue?"

Aerion waved his hand, channelling Aeromancy and sending the Night King into the wall of ice on his left. Then he gestured right and smashed him into the wall on his right. He continued to throw around the Night King like a plaything, taking some amusement in his shame.

Finally, he let go and the Night King was smashed to the ground.

"How boring, I expected greater resistance. You might look like him, but you are not the Night King that I faced." Aerion frowned, looking down on the Night King. "Even a girl with a valyrian steel dagger could have killed you."

Aerion turned, shaking his head. "Not even worth killing with my own hand."

"Better to be safe."

Jocelyn stretched out her hand, unleashing Electromancy from each of her fingers. Within seconds, the Night King was scorched and done. After that, Jocelyn turned away and joined Aerion.

"This..." Aerion stopped, observing a black ring with a glowing blue gemstone at its top appear before him.

------------

The Ring of Time and Space

Magic charge: 0%

Description: ???

------------

He took it from the air and put it on his left index finger, unleashing waves of his magic vitality into the ring. It absorbed all of it like a void... leaving nothing left.

'Magic charge: 0% -> 0.1%'

'Only 0.1%? That was a thousand of my magic vitality!'

Although Aerion was slightly frustrated, he finally saw the door to his glorious return.

"What are you smiling about?"

"We're going home, sooner or later." Aerion smiled.

~

By the time Aerion and Jocelyn returned to the Aegonfort, Rhaenys and Aegon were back in court from their royal progress. Aerion spoke with Aegon as usual... but just as their friendship had bloomed, Aerion couldn't ignore the thorn at his side. He had fucked his wife, after all, under an influence or not.

Aegon had invited Aerion for a private conversation which showed their growing bond.

"Visenya seems far more pleased as of late... I wonder, what could have happened?"

'... Do you have to ask that exact question?'

"I don't know." Aerion shrugged his shoulders. "But... a pleased Visenya is far better than a stern one, wouldn't you agree? I'd say her smile is quite a sight as rare as it is."

'I suppose it's the rarity of them that make her smiles all the more precious.'

"Few things please Visenya." Aegon nodded.

'Maybe you don't try so hard.' Aerion thought, deciding to change the subject. "Anyway... how was the royal progress?"

"It was a peaceful affair," Aegon replied. "Not much else... though, I did try some peaches but they weren't nearly as good as the ones you conjured."

"How can you expect nature to keep up with my magic?" Aerion chuckled.

"Heh... I suppose it's an uphill battle in your favour." Aegon smiled. "Have you found a way to return to your time?"

"Yes, I have, in fact." Aerion nodded with a pleased expression. "I will be able to make my return within less than two years. Have you made up your mind about joining me?"

"... I have." Aegon nodded. "I've pondered over what you said and you are right. Nothing about the past will change... and the prospect of living far longer than I would is quite hard to resist. Seeing all of my descendants, no less... I can think of few things that can make me smile as much."

"I knew you'd accept my offer." Aerion smiled. "It's settled then... you'll be my Master of Conquests. Wouldn't it be a fitting title, eh?"

"Master of Conquests..." Aegon nodded. "Can't say I've ever heard of that one yet."

"A new seat on the Big Council," Aerion replied, smiling slightly.

"The Big Council." Aegon chuckled. "How creative."

"It would be quite a big council, I assure you, with plenty of seats all with a common goal; the stability, protection, expansion and prosperity of my Empire."

"I'd be honoured." Aegon nodded.

Between Bellona's persuasion and his bond with Aegon, Aerion felt conflicted as to how he should proceed.

~

The next morning, all seemed well. The court was buzzing and, unlike most days, it was Aegon who decided to sit on his Iron Throne. He sat on it rather well and resolved most issues with effectiveness. Of course, he was aided by both of his sister-wives who were capable themselves.

It seemed like just another day... until Aegon collapsed on his Iron Throne and rolled down the steps.

"Aegon...!"

Within what seemed only an instant, the King was dead.
