The following morning, Ying Yue woke up earlier than expected as she had several things to take care of. She took a quick shower, got dressed, and headed downstairs to have breakfast with her big brother.

" Good morning, big brother!"

I got behind Ying Jie and hugged him from behind very affectionately.

" Good morning to you, sis!"

He stood up and got me to sit beside him.

" You made breakfast today!" I inquired after noticing that everything was already ready when I arrived.

" Yes, I did! I know you would have wanted to make breakfast instead, but I took that opportunity from you. I hope you're not displeased with me".

" Not at all! I'm sure you might have had your reasons for doing so, am I right? I simply asked without pushing the matter further.

" You guessed correctly as always!"
