Lilith screams as she sits up and found an old newspaper in her hands. Lilith put her palm into her face, catching her breath. She passed out and found herself in the room that she entered. The girl with black eyes was nowhere in sight, Lilith stood up and pat the dirt off her pants. She grabbed her flashlight and looked to the board again with a lot of post-it notes, photos and seems to track links.
"I think I might use this later," she said to herself, took a photo and went downstairs.
The television was still on, she laid herself back on the couch. With the old newspaper in her hand, she copied everything to her laptop. As she is typing, Lilith wants to believe everything was a nightmare. A nightmare of what she saw, of what she witnessed but the part of her is telling her it was real.
Morning came and she went home. "How was it?" Lilith's mother greeted her with a question. Lilith was confused and suddenly remember her excuse. "Great!" she replied, faking a smile.
"Mom, the sleepover was great and we are awake all night and that's why…." She yawns, acting as if she is tired.
"Oh, its okay, honey."
Lilith smiled and went upstairs, still comprehending what happened last night in the abandoned house. She throws her shoes off and lays on her bed, she took out her phone. There is still no message from Ivy. Wanting to tell Ivy what happened in the abandoned house, she hesitated and put her phone back knowing Ivy wouldn't believe her.
